To find this place, you need to go into the wise building and go to B1 where all the restaurants are. We came here at around 1315 and it was pretty busy because all the workers in the building were on lunch.
We ordered mince raw beef bibimbap and beef and hash bibimbap on stone pot. The raw beef bibimbap was good but you gotta try the cooked beef bibimbap ON STONE POT too. The stone pot comes out sizzling and it stays that way for more than 10 minutes!! Stir your bibimbap right away so the bottom rice doesn’t get too burnt although it happens anyways because the stone pot is so hot. If you like the crunchy rice then this dish is for you. They put a good amount of beef too, flavor is tasteful. The raw beef bibimbap doesn’t come in stone pot.
They also give you free pancake dish with chives and kimchi and radish dishes that they will refill for you if you eat it all. They also give you hot bean sprout soup with some cold tea. We love places that do these things for you.
I’m gonna be honest, I never thought bibimbap was good but this place changed my mind. Best bibimbap I...
Read moreWhat an amazing spot close by to Seoul station. Easily accessible via exit 3 and very doable to get here if you have an hour between trains as we did before our trip to Busan. The staff are so amazing and so efficient with getting people in and out. You order in line and by the time you are sitting at your table the delicious bibimbaps hit the table moments later.
The stone beef bibimbap was absolutely delicious. Crispy rice on the bottom, flavourful veggies and egg on top.
Accompanied by the usual Banchan, bean sprout soup and pancake!
The standout for me was the raw beef bibimbap. The flavour was unreal and the quality of each of the ingredients can’t be beaten.
To get to Jeon-any Bibimbap go to the B1 level of Wise Building accessed via outdoor stairs or the internal lifts.

Firstly, if you like Dolsot Bibimbap, you must visit this place. I had the Flying Fish Roe version and it was superb. Perfectly flavoured with generous heaps of ingredients. Standard size banchan despite dining alone.
Good food comes with their drawbacks. They are popular. They get very busy during peak hours and may not be able to accommodate single patrons. Either you try to find a stranger and convince them to dine together. Or you could just come during off peak hours. After 1 pm is safe. Firstly, you don't have to queue. Secondly, the place is quieter. And mostly, you don't feel like you have to rush with the lunch crowd.
Did I say you have to try this? I was so glad that I waited elsewhere and came back at a...
