Maddux Pizza Itaewon — Restaurant in Seoul

Hands down my favorite pizza place in Seoul.

The Good When they're on their game, they're on. They have a solid 4-6 varieties on hand at any time, but it's the depth of flavor combined with the price that makes this place special. At around 6,000 KRW per enormous slice and a small selection of beers and sodas, I get full on like 12-15,000 worth of food.

The Not So Good The first time I went here my pizza was burnt, no two ways about it. And I like a charred crust. But the pizza was carbonized to the point of being inedible. But because I had heard so many great things, I gave it another shot and I haven't had a bad slice since then. Still, some people might still find the crusts to be overcooked/burnt.

Wouldn't recommend going during prime evening hours. Went around 7 p.m. and had to add my name to a waitlist. After 8, people seemed able to walk in and get seated immediately. Would've never done that in the winter if I hadn't had my mouth set for Sicilian pizza, which they were sold out of:/ Had the spinach and artichoke slice and the mac 'n' chz slice instead. They removed the bacon from the mac 'n' chz slice with no fuss. It's hard to find good mac in Korea and putting it on pizza didn't help much. The artichoke slice was solid tho and not 5lbs and greasy like Artichoke in NY. Soundtrack was dope, too. Filled with 90s hip hop and R&B. The staff also was really caring. Pizza place in Itaewon. Got really popular after they've got introduced in the Cable TV show. The Mc and Cheese pizza and pepperoni pjzza are famous. I think one grown man can handle two pieces. The dow is very crispy like any other american pizzas. However, I didn't thought it was a good pizza because first of all the cheese on the pizzas wasn't good.
