During my visit, I experience good customer service (from outside the door I already am receiving a greeting from an employee); employees are kind. I don’t mind looking at the menu then ordering at the register. I like the chill natural-zen vibes (inclusive of real plants). The seating seems to cater to between cozy and comfortable with/for a group/couple/individual. The eatery is on a higher floor than the street (which one can especially observe from seating near a large window). I order a cheesesteak with Tempeh on the side. The cheesesteak tastes really good: the bread is soft and warm, the vegan meat is tender containing the soft cheesy flavor well (an option for peppers, onions—additional vegetables can be nice, I don't ask for additional ingredients so I don't know if one is available), the chips on the side being an option will be nice as I prefer a salad or anything other than anything potentially out of a fryer (even chips out of a baking process are more preferable to me), a stick is through the cheesesteak sandwich to hold it all together, for anyone looking to test inner temperatures/tastes of the sandwich at all. I put the Tempeh into the sandwich like Vegan Crumbles, and I really like the mixing of the flavors. The Tempeh alone is more savory-tasty. I'm glad about finding a high protein Vegan...
Read moreBrooo what happened to y’alls menu?! I always went here for the meatball spaghetti and hummus pumpkin salad bowl. These items used to be so generous in serving, and apparently Plant’s recently done a 180 on the menu with these items no longer on it. I ended up ordering a meatball rice bowl and the portions have become so small, for the same exact price. I only tasted half a meatball that was in the sauce and the rest seemed to just be sauce and maybe a tiny meatball residue crumble here and there. There was barely any salad on it. The meatball pasta i used to order for the same price used to have 5 whole meatballs. The hummus bowl that used to be on the menu also has dwindled down to a little portion bowl for the same price, and it no longer includes the very generous greens and hummus portion as well as the bread.
I’m all for changes but if you guys are gonna halve the portions, shouldn’t the prices also reflect this? Meh, the downgrade was a bit sad to see and I’m more hesitant to...
Read moreDiscovered this cafe accidentaly via youtube search with two words of my obsession : Plant and Cafe.
After seeing the youtube video bout this plant cafe and famous actress Im Soo Jung's instagram, i've decided to include Plant Cafe in my holiday itenary to Seoul.
We ordered mushroom burger and lentil vege bowl. As a non vegan, i'm really impressed with the creativity of the chef to prepare a balanced food with only vegetables and plant. The food are extremely delicious, made with love and very gentle to the stomach. The salsa in the Lentil vege bowl is superb and addictive to me. The level of deliciousness makes me want to explore more about vegan food and lifestyle.
The interior design and plants here are blessings considering its winter outside. I'm very pleased to see the plants here are beautifully placed and taken care off by their friendly staff and crew.
I hope to visit Plant Cafe again in the future and have a sit at their...
