This fancy Japanese restaurant, nestled in the 5-star Grand Hyatt Seoul, offers a refined dining experience. With a limited number of seats, the atmosphere is intimate and exclusive, complemented by a stunning view of the Han River. For lunch, two set menus are available, though they come with a relatively higher price tag. The food quality is exceptional, especially in the lunch sushi set, which features a variety of impeccably crafted sushi. The standout moment of the meal is the delightful ice cream dessert, accompanied by a small piece of honeycomb. This sweet treat adds a perfect finishing touch to the dining experience. In essence, the restaurant not only impresses with its exquisite Japanese cuisine but also provides a visually and gastronomically rich encounter within the luxurious setting of the Grand Hyatt Seoul.

Known as one of the top Japanese restaurants in town, the menu selection is quite limited. The food quality if undoubtedly high but when you are spending about $100usd per person, the expectation is very high considering a lot of Japanese restaurants in Korea have very good quality. The setting feels intimate and small but yet surrounded by a massive hotel where people are just coming in and out. I guess it would be a treat to try it

Recommended visit. Small and cozy little Japanese restaurant located below the ground floor in the Grand Hyatt hotel. It had a handful of tables and counter seating with a nice layout and warm atmosphere. Staff were attentive and friendly. The lunch and dinner set menus were both good but the lunch menu was more value for money. Highly recommended items were their different selections of Uni and their abalone sushi.

This is an updated review based on my Keluga Queen omakase meal in November 2023. I've written several past reviews that became increasingly bad. I'm a member of the gym at the Grand Hyatt, a Hyatt Globalist, and live 3 min walk from the hotel, so I'm at the hotel a lot and had the omakase here probably 20 times in the last 2 years. FIRST, service and ambiance is and has been the best in Seoul -- attention to detail by the servers, the Kauri wood counter and view of Seoul lights at night. BUT, SECOND, my issues were always about the quality of the omakase. This time, the meal was prepared by CHEF AHN. I very much appreciated his effort and flexibility to make sure I had an enjoyable meal. And it was enjoyable. I expect to go back again soon, on days when Chef Ahn is at...

Recently dined here for a business dinner where they located in one of the booths next to the window. Unfortunately ours was the one where you have a big feature lattice which practically means you donโ€™t get to see the amazing view. We asked to be moved but the other two were booked.

We opted for the omakase sushi set menu for table. The presentation which excellent for each dish and nothing was not good but equally nothing was a wow level which you may expect at this price point.

Despite not 5 stars, iโ€™d still recommend given itโ€™s a quieter atmosphere which is ideal for business dinners but do make sure you request specifically for a booth that can see...
