London Bagel Museum Jamsil — Restaurant in Seoul

On 29June 2024, we had registered and after some time our number was called around 4pm. we bought some bagels and a soup and there were a few empty tables and seats available.

As we were eating half way, a rude female door host by the name of ye/yl jin with 2 long pony tails demanded that we must leave now as we r not on the "dine in" list.

I told her we do not know the arrangement and we are already eating half way so give us 5mins and we will finish the food and leave but she demanded that we have to leave now and she is super rude and arrogant and trying to create a scene.

we were holding our cool and told her to not disturb us and let us to finish our food first but she insisted again and again that we must leave and there are still a few empty tables available around us too.

I almost wanted to shout at her but I held my cool. She went to the back of the kitchen n got another female staff to talk to us and I told her the same too that we are almost done with our food and we just need 5mins. I almost raise my voice if they r to continue their nonsense.

This is the worst f&b experience I have ever had. The door host was extremely rude, ARROGANT, full of herself with no EQ and basic courtesy. she does not fit into customer service as a front line staff.

The management should seriously look into the way the staff treated your customers. We paid for our meals and yet this is the type of horrendous service attitude we got from your staff.

She will tarnish the company image and cause more customers to be upset in the future.

After we finished our meal and about to leave, those empty tables around us are still empty and we do not know why she is making a fuss and creating an unplesant scene for...

I saw that they have very good review. However, their bagels are okay. No surprise. And here is the story. We had four people. We got on the waiting list. They said it will take around two hours. It took around 3 hours at the end. And here is the story. They only have long bench tables inside, so everyone has to share the tables. They kept letting group of two to get inside. We asked how long do we have to wait. They said they don’t have table for four people. I was like, how come you didn’t tell us at the beginning. After some LONG wait, they asked us was that okay for us to be two groups of two people to sit in. It was fine. But the worst was that they keep letting people who bought take out order to sit down. The take out order waiting list was way shorter and faster. How come we had to wait so long to get in and others just sit in after they bought their take out order. And here the thing. The staff inside knew that. They even give them plates and let them...

I luckily only waited about 45 min in the late afternoon on a weekday. I only went to stand in line bc there was a line and I could see the eager faces of those waiting—which made me think—oh this has to be good. When it was my turn to walk into the shop—it was a bit rushed and chaotic. I didn’t get a chance to take it all in as I was rushed forward. So many things caught my attention —the fun artwork—the many bagels that were so pretty I thought they were fake! I ended up choosing 2 bagels—their jambon and butter and another one sesame w a honey dip. Wow—these were the best bagels I have ever had!! The cream cheese was light and creamy yet they didn’t skimp on it. And the bagels—didn’t need to be toasted because they were so fresh and soft and had the right amount texture. I wish they had this in California!! I would’ve gone back again but—the thought of possibly waiting hours in line (because it’s so popular)-made me...
