I have never had chicken & waffles before. I saw Bruxie on my last visit but didn't get a chance to try it out. My wife & I split a Kickin Chicken sandwich and it was amazing, I definitely wanted more. This is my second visit to Bruxie on this trip.
I went back to Bruxie's 2 years later, and I wasn't nearly as impressed. If you buy a meal, it has to be with a soda, you pay an extra 4,000W for an iced tea, and then they won't give you a refill of the iced tea, only the soda. Unfortunately the coleslaw in the sandwich had a terrible taste and had to be scraped out to salvage otherwise decent combo. It was metallic and overly bitter. Just guessing but they must’ve used more of the cabbage core and never tasted it in the kitchen because it was very obvious throughout the whole portion we had gotten. Only dinging them one star for it, since their core foods were good.

At first, I was confused because the color was like the light shade of tan. So I tasted it and could barely taste any chocolate, so I went to the counter and asked for more syrup.
