I've been to Seoul so many times now and finally managed to visit the famous and long-standing "Pomodoro." I opted for the "Spaghetti all Amatriciana," and it was a great choice. The dish tasted delicious, and I was very satisfied. So, if you're ever in Seoul and are tired of Korean food, just visit "Pomodoro." 스파게티란 이런 맛~ 아직도 스파게티와 파스타의 차이는 잘 모르겠지만, 여긴 스파게티 메뉴를 파는 곳이다. 요즘은 어딜 가도 파스타를 파는데, 이곳은 추억의 메뉴, 바로 스파게티를 판매한다. 스파게티는 살짝 매콤한 토마토소스 베이스로 뭔가 옛날 생각나는, 추억 돋는 맛이 난다. 게다가 치즈가 소스에 녹아 들어서인지 고소한 맛도 함께 느껴지고, 전체적으로는 다양한 맛. 재료로 조각난 베이컨과 양파가 들어가는데 가격을 생각하면 구성은 살짝 아쉽다. 차라리 베이컨 두 줄을 바삭하게 튀겨서 토핑으로 올렸다면 그 가격에 대한 아쉬움은 없었을 텐데... 동네 스파게티집 같은 친근한 분위기인데, 메뉴 가격대는 조금 부담스럽다. 그래도 가격을 잠시 잊고 맛에 집중하면 만족스럽다. 그리고 여기는 소스가 넉넉히 남는 스타일이라 빵을 함께 주문하면 더 좋을 것 같다.

매장 & 팁 & 총평 매장은 아담한 편이지만 테이블 수는 많은 곳이다. 합칠 수 있는 2인 테이블이 메인이라 혼밥 하기도 좋고, 여러 명이서도 문제없다. 평일 저녁 7시 반에 방문했는데 자리는 거의 만석. 재료 소진으로 주문이 안 되는 메뉴도 있을 정도로 손님이 많은 식당이다. 오래 장사해서인지 추억이 있는 단골손님도 많은 듯. 그리고 아이들과 함께 오는 가족 손님도 많았다. 테이블에서 주문하고 나갈 때 카운터에서 결제. 여러 종류의 스파게티와 리소토 메뉴를 판매한다. 길 가다 손님이 많아 보여서 우연히 방문한 곳인데, 나름...

An iconic, historical Italian restaurant in the heart of Gwangwamun. I found out about this place through my parents, who have been coming here since they were college students. Although this is now a place to get extremely delicious pasta at an affordable price, i could tell that for them, it used to be a special, fancy place at that time. ☺️

Here, you can get a variety of delicious Asian pastas for a great price. These dishes aren't necessarily authentic Italian style but they are so so good and a must-try!
