THE COFFEE IS DELICIOUS: As owners of a coffee grinder and machine, we know when we have good coffee. This coffee is one of the BEST coffee we have in Korea. The taste is extremely good and has a good variety of beans. Extra plus for decaf coffee as I am currently pregnant. The coffee is so good our friends with my husband and I came back 4 times during our recent trip. We have tried the hot version, iced version, with milk, with oat milk (oatside is used here and we love it) and even the signature “Rewire cream latte” has the best pistachio and macadamia handmade cream; all taste so good. Every cup is hand made with a lot of love and even the latte art is so good.

PASTRY IS MIND-BLOWING: Not all coffee places have good coffee AND pastries. This place has BOTH. We had the egg tarts, chocolate cookies and chestnut bread. They were all so well made and yummy. So balanced with the sweet and savory. We loved it so much, we ordered takeaway to bring it back to our home country and it still taste amazing the next day.

COZY CAFE VIBES: The cafe is tucked away near myeongdong and is near to a few hotels, including ours. The location is within walking distance and despite the limited seating, the coffee and food is so good that we did not mind having it to go. To avoid the crowd, we recommend coming early. The cafe owner is super nice and friendly. The cafe decoration is cozy and comical (IYKYK).

I recently visited Rewire Coffee in Seoul, and it was an experience worth sharing. Right off the bat, I was drawn in by the cozy ambiance, complemented by well-curated music, aesthetic artwork, and lush plants that added a touch of calmness to the space. Although the seating is somewhat limited, the atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a well-crafted cup of coffee.

I started with their egg tart pastry, and I have to say—it was superb. The crust was incredibly flaky, and the filling was perfectly creamy, soft, and warm. It’s probably one of the best egg tarts I’ve had in a while.

Next, I tried their signature drink, the Rewire Cream Latte. It’s their flagship item for a reason. The latte was beautifully creamy without being overpowering, with just the right level of sweetness. It was balanced and incredibly smooth, making it a standout on their menu.

For something more classic, I opted for an Iced Americano. What’s unique is that they let me choose between two different blends: one more acidic and the other nuttier with chocolate notes. I chose the acidic blend, and it was perfect—smooth, palatable, and well-balanced. It wasn’t overly extracted or bitter, and the ratio of water to espresso was spot on.

The baristas at Rewire also seemed skilled and knowledgeable, handling each order with care and attention to detail.

Nice and quaint shop! The shop owner was nice and friendly too! English/Japanese and of course Korean friendly! There was a nice mix of the international crowd and local people visiting here. Okay time for a quick review. We have gotten 2 latés and 2 milk teas alongside 2 of their egg tarts.

The coffees were gooddd

The stunning blend was more roasted, darker with more body while the other vivid blend was lighter with stone fruit notes. The cremas on both were good and you could really taste the notes as described too!

The crust of the egg tarts were nice and flakey and the custard filling was nice, warm and just the right sweetness. When paired with the coffee it really brought out the creamy sweetness too! The milk teas were nice and aromatic too, blending in with the smoothness.
