Shake Shack Hongdae — Restaurant in Seoul

Just like the shake shack burgers I had in LA… very convenient to reach, close to Hongik University station (exit 8). Lovely presentation and heaps of tables and chairs. I love the self service area which has a hand washing station.

If you’ve ever had a shake shack burger, you know what to expect. The reason why I’m not giving full marks and only 4 stars is because; despite waiting for nearly 20 mins, the fries came out cold. Major disappointment. the self service ordering machines were rather complicated and slow. In fact I saw one person who ordered by the counter the same time as me, and he finished noticeably quicker than I did. Defeats the purpose...

The kiosk was easy to use, but the Menu on the window is not all English so I had to grab a printed copy by the kiosks.

After a 10-min wait, I got my order. First thing I noticed was that the fries were lukewarm. I found this perplexing, a mistake this should not have happened.

The burger unfortunately did not meet my expectations either. The bacon tasted bitter, which I disliked. The BBQ sauce was on the lighter side.

Location is in front of the gate of LC Tower ground floor. It's hard to miss if you want to go the Genshin Pc bang at the 7th floor. Food is quite good, but there's more delicious burger out there better than this. Price wise is fair, aside from the burger the fries itself is nothing special, but at least you can add sauce to it.
