The experience was great and it was worth visiting. When you first enter the cafe, adorable dogs surround you. They might be barking loudly, but they are just welcoming you. Don’t be scared; they are just excited for a new customer and won’t hurt you. Next, you are required to order a drink. After that, you can roam freely wherever you want. The dogs are welcome to strangers. If no dogs get close to you, the owner will give you a dog blanket. Although it smells a bit, the dogs love the blanket and they will come near you and sit on your lap, longing for your touch. If you pat them, they will stay longer. More dogs will come as time passes. Most dogs will sleep and cuddle on your lap if they feel at home and safe with you. The dogs will stay on your lap as long as you don’t move and constantly pat them. The dogs are well trained; some even bring drinks or money to guests! Although they might be aggressive to other dogs, they will not attack you in any way, they are very friendly and happy. The best dog is a small Chihuahua, if you manage to have her climb into your lap, you are in luck! She licks you a lot and let’s you pat her for as long as you like. The Chihuahua is adorable and is friendly. The overall experience was very good, the dogs were obedient. The owner cares about the costumers. If no dogs are with you, she will call some dogs to care for you; to sleep in your lap and make you feel comfortable. She is very caring and friendly. There is a time limit of 1.5 hour, and even if you are a little past the time limit, they will not hurry you to leave. It was definitely worth a visit, and most costumers loved the dogs. This cafe is wonderful and worth visiting. I highly...
Read moreThe entrance fee for this cafe is 11,000.00 won per adult and 9,000.00 won for children under 7 years old. In exchange for this fee, visitors are provided with free canned drinks and a 1.5-hour duration to spend inside the cafe. Upon entering, you'll find approximately 10 to 15 dogs of various breeds, ranging from a Siberian Husky or possibly a Malamute as the largest to a Pomeranian as the smallest. These dogs are well-maintained, clean, and groomed.
The owner takes great care of the cleanliness by wandering around with disinfectant wipes and paper towels, promptly cleaning up any mess made by the dogs. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the dogs, hold them in their laps, and even request the owner or management to take photos. The dogs are accustomed to human interaction and are generally gentle.
However, they do exhibit curiosity and tend to bark when new people enter the cafe.
For families with children, the cafe provides a delightful experience. The kids, aged 8 and 4, particularly enjoyed their time interacting with the friendly dogs. It's important to note that the cafe does not have a lift, so visitors need to climb the stairs. Additionally, strollers must be left outside, and although there are male and female restrooms available, there is no dedicated baby changing or nursery room within...
Read moreI came to this dog cafe even though I have 2 dogs myself. I like to go to dog cafes because I miss my dogs when going on vacation. This was the 2nd dog cafe I went to in Hongdae. The entrance fee is 11,000₩ and you get one free drink and 1.5 hour time limit. This place gets crowded really quickly. Everyone was sitting at the edge so all the dogs were spread around. It was hard to interact with all the dogs since everyone was spread out. Since they allow outside dogs,it was kind of chaotic. They made some dogs wear diapers. I think they need to take the dogs outside for a walk because I'm sure the dogs are stressed by always being surrounded by people. While I was there, there was one dog that just sat there and looking at a different room. I'm sure they wanted to get away from all the chaos. I feel like the employees should also focus on not getting the dogs stressed out than just scolding them for barking. One employee did bring one dog to sit on my lap which I appreciated though. When it was almost 1.5 hours since I've been there,an employee reminded me it was 10 minutes prior. That was the first time a dog cafe reminded me my time was almost up. I don't know how I feel about that. I think the AC was almost not working so it was kind of hot. Overall,I am not sure if I would...
