The original recipe, the Olive fried chicken is tasty and juicy by itself, even with no sauce added. But one of the best food choice in the menu is the half-and-half chicken were you get a portion of the original fried chicken and another flavored fried chicken of your choice. So far, I was able to try the secret recipe flavored chicken, soy chicken and the sweet and spicy fried chicken. bbq Chicken and Beer also serves rice, which also is a good combination with fried chicken and drinks. If you're in the Myeongdong Shopping Street area, there's one located at Myeondong 4-gil. The one in the picture is located in the Hongdae shopping area. There are two bbq Chicken and Beer restaurants in the Hongdae shopping area so when you feel the urge for good fried chicken, there is always one nearby. The serving is good for two to three people. But you can always take away the left over food if you like. For foreigners, communicating with the staff is not a problem. Some have English speaking staff. If none, you can always point to the food in the menu and gesture how many orders or people. Usually, you order food from the table where you're seated and you pay at the cashier. Authentic Local Fried Chicken – A Must-Try!

I’ve heard that this is a spot only locals know about, and after trying it myself, I can confidently say it’s absolutely worth the hype! We ordered two types of fried chicken, and both were exceptional.

1. Golden Olive Chicken Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside—perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. What impressed me the most was the frying technique—served hot and fresh, yet not greasy at all. That’s something we really appreciated.

2. Spicy Black Pepper Olive Chicken This one has the same base as the Golden Olive Chicken, but with an extra layer of black pepper seasoning sprinkled on top. The black pepper adds a bolder, more complex flavor, making it even more addictive.

Initially, we ordered half a chicken of each, but we ended up adding another half because it was just too good to resist!
