came on a weekday afternoon as a solo diner and there was barely any wait, and little trouble. food was good.
many say that it’s hard to order, but there’s a english sign beside with some instructions. basically you just have to 1. input a phone number (if you dont have one, just put in 11 zeros). then press tick on all the boxes (its the terms and conditions etc). at the next page, enter the number of diners. then choose your menu item. the menu is provided on the right with pictures and numbers so you can easily decide before ordering. take a picture of the queue number and wait for the staff to call your number (or wait for them to flip the number sign outside the restaurant)
i ordered the steak. there’s instructions on the table on how to properly enjoy the meal. the food was quite good, but i felt that it was slightly underseasoned. still enjoyed my experience as the pot rice is a korean delicacy you cant get...
Read moreWith not much English, a small stand, and a lot of people crowding all around, it definitely was quite mysterious for someone walking by. Didn't help that they were TikTok-viral not too long before we arrived in Seoul.
Food was above average, short of some punch. Service was average, don't expect too much especially since they don't even try to pretend that they can't do too much English. Wait was a little too long, for the food. Overall was a good experience, but not something that I'd add to my limited meals here in Seoul, unless you're around the Hannam area. It's quite a cute little traditional shop space afterall.
Beef steak pot rice was the main star of the dish, but their seafood abalone pot rice, and sea bream pot rice, were equally appealing. The liquid you add at the end, was water, and I'd have loved it even if they gave some miso soup for the...
Read moreVery disappointing experience. The staff were extremely rude and their waiting system doesn’t accept foreign phone numbers, which is frustrating for international guests. I registered manually and was shown number 43, but due to what seemed like a system glitch, I was actually registered as 42.
When they called 43, the person before me went up, and I also approached. Instead of helping resolve the confusion, the staff argued with me, insisted I was 42, and told me to register again — despite seeing me wait the whole time. No apology, no understanding, just complete dismissal.
I never got to eat after waiting so long, and it truly felt like I was being treated unfairly for being a foreigner. I follow rules, but was punished for the restaurant’s own error. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and should...
