The Forest Choso Chaekbang — Restaurant in Seoul

This cafe is pretty popular despite its location in the middle of Inwangsan. We stopped by for brunch after hiking up inwangsan and were pleasantly surprised by the design/layout of the place! The top level has amazing views of the city.

We enjoyed the freshly baked bread there too. You can browse and purchase the books on display here.

We would recommend hiking/walking to the cafe as parking seemed really limited in this area. They had one staff directing drivers to squeeze into the lots here. Anyway, walking is good for...

It’s a small cafe that has been converted from an old army outpost on the top of the mountain. It’s a bit difficult to get to, and there is limited space for parking but if you take a cab or hike up from the bottom of the mountain, it’s a lovely cafe with an amazing view.

Besides but taking in the view and relaxing, you can also take out one of their many books and read while you enjoy your coffee and bread.

Whether or not if the experience is worth the hike or the drive is up to you, but I certainly enjoyed my time...

Auf dem Ingwangsan gelegen bietet dieses Buchcafé einen wundervollen Blick über Seoul und auf den Seoul N-Tower wenn man oben auf der Terasse sitzt und bietet Gästen ein Refugium, um dem Trubel der GRoßstadt zu entkommen.

Das Café ist extrem gut besucht und war sogar an einem Vormittag wochentags sehr gut belegt. Das Café verfügt nur über einen winzigen Parkplatz, der für 5-6 Fahrzeuge reicht und darüber hinaus gibt es keine weiteren Parkmöglichkeiten. Also entweder läuft man hoch (Tipp, denn es gibt auf dem Weg dorthin schöne Aussichtsplattformen) oder man nimmt sich ein Taxi und lässt sich vor dem Café aussteigen.

Preise sind gehoben = man zahlt für den Blick und auch die durchschnittliche Verweildauer der Gäste ist sehr lang, manche Gäste kaufen sich einen Kaffee und sitzen für Studen und lesen ein Buch. Also aus Wirtschaftlichen Gründen kann ich es verstehen. Daneben kann man auch einige Backwaren kaufen und seinen Hunger stillen. Vor allem bei gutem Wetter ist dieses Café einen Besuch wert.
