As other reviewers have observed, the cake was rock dry and the custard hard and gooey. Addressing it with the staff, they told me the cakes had been cut in the morning and left out on display. Of course they would be Superdry by 3 in the afternoon. I would recommend this amazing bakery but note if you have just met a friend (or gone for a coffee) and don’t really need a second one.. don’t come!!

Visited this spot for a little tea break - their variety is staggering and they definitely offer a lot of sweet treats. However, most - if not all - of their offerings are cold and tough (with it being winter) and staff do not offer to warm the treats up for you. Butter, cream, jam have to be purchased if you want them. The best option for me personally was taking home the single shortbread we bought to enjoy later. Drinks are alright and staff don't do much except to work...
