Yong Sung Chicken — Restaurant in Suwon-si

Good good really good! Was doing a day trip to Suwon and heard about this fried chicken shop claiming to be the best in Suwon in the fried chicken street so had to verify it. Was there alone and really wanted to try the best of both worlds so I ordered a half-half. What shocked me was the amount of chicken that was served. Was that 1 or 2 whole chicken? I was worried they might be serving 2 but I assumed it was 1 when I saw the 2 chicken feet. I really enjoyed the fried chicken it was so so good. At a certain point I almost wanted to give up. I saw people around me left without finishing it or they requested to takeaway the remaining, but I just sat there and finished everything. The original fried was a bit dry after like finishing half of it, what really helped was the sweet spicy sauce. I finished the spicy one first and used the remaining sauce to clear up the original one. I have to say again the spicy sauce was just so good I never tasted a sauce similar like that. Really wonderful and memorable will always remember the taste of it and want to visit again if the chance comes. Tourists take note, might be a little inconvenient if you have no knowledge of Korean. Fried Chicken. The city of Suwon has street dedicated to fried chicken and there are many famous ones. This particular one I went is featured in many of the Korean broadcasting channels. What is interesting is they even throw in fried chicken feet and gizzard. I must say for its original fried chicken, the batter is not thick and the chicken meat has the taste of its marinate. Yummy. After touring the Fortress, local friends brought us to this must eat place in Suwon. This is a very popular spot for locals and visitors. Parking was tricky, but they made it work. The fried chicken, radish side, chips appetizer were all very good. Portions are huge! The popular sauce coated chicken was too sweet for my liking, and was swimming in sauce.
