AVOID !!! DONT GO !!! DONT STOP !!! DONT EAT !!! KEEP WALKING !!! DONT INTERACT !!! Yes yes the menu may look appealing but thats as far as the appeal goes, the food is a struggle in all way shapes and forms. I dont even know where to begin Croutons on salad stale, it was more sauce than salad, Calamari smelt really fish while being cooked, smelt like bleach/ammonia when delivered, steak meh more like a joint of beef carved into thin slices and then no chargrill marks, packet sauce thick and stodgy, the chips where the only nice thing on the plate.
Food so bad we left dessert behind
2 out of 6 people had to leave early due to stomach cramps and pains and needing to vomit.
1 hour later and 4 out of 6 people have bad belly and the urge to use the bathroom with extreme cramps and belly ache. 1 of the people didn't even bother eating therr food 1 spoonful and that was as far as it goes.
Night 2 of our holiday has been forced to end early. Lovely stuff.
Eat here at your own risk.
Id be ashamed if I was Amanda and my name was known for the quality of food.

Read moreToday was the first day of our holiday. And, after 18hrs of delays and travelling courtesy of storm Ciara, I didnt think we (a family 4 including a 2 year and 4 year old) would make it out.
We were looking of a nice meal for my wife and I, whilst our minions had been demanding Pizza for several hours.
Amanda's bar were welcoming with attentive staff. My wife had the pork medallions, and myself the mixed grill.
Both dishes were served with sautéed potatoes (seasoned with salt and garlic) and Salad. Our boys both stuck to their guns and ordered pizza which was massive. The base we received was a sour dough style which was packed with flavour but still a light and fluffy base.
Our meals were also to a great standard. The Ambiance was calm and relaxed and although we were eating at 6pm, by the time we left the place was filling up with familys and more senior holiday makers.
The cost for us was around €55 which was good value. We would happily return.

The entertainment is terrific. MC Sean King doubles as an Elvis impersonator. Of the Vegas variety. Resplendent in spangly, rhinestone studded jumpsuit, chunky gold sunglasses and... corny one liners. But don't let that fool you. His patter is genuinely original and very, very funny. And, importantly, spotlessly clean. You could take your kids to see him, with no fear of embarrassment or controversy. They probably won't understand many of the jokes though. Oh, and he's a decent singer too.
We visited Amanda's on a Saturday night in February and it was more or less a full house. There was a Rod Stewart impersonator performing on the same night, but "Elvis" is the real star of the show in Amanda's. If you're visiting south Tenerife you could do worse than to drop in for some (free) top class...
