FUN, FIRST-TIMERS – BUT ONE DRAWBACK
My mom and I joined Radikal Jet Ski for the 2-hour double jet ski tour and overall had a great time. It was my very first time on a jet ski (though I do ride motorcycles at home), and I drove the entire way. The staff were friendly, gave a clear safety briefing, and explained everything in a simple, straightforward way —it’s really not complicated once you’re out on the water.
The experience itself was exciting: cruising at around 28–29 km/h was more than enough speed to enjoy the ride, especially with the waves. Highlights included zooming past tourist boats, spotting flying fish right beside us, and taking breaks to jump in the sea or stretch out. The views were stunning, and we definitely had plenty of fun.
BUT where it fell short: The guide often went far ahead of the group, even when we were going at maximum speed, which made it difficult to keep up. Midway through in a busy bit with several boats/jet skis, another pair suddenly joined our group without explanation, leaving us unsure whether we were still following the correct guide. To make matters worse, one jet ski couldn’t keep up and fell far behind, which ended with them getting reprimanded —though in our opinion it was the guide’s responsibility to notice and adjust the pace, especially knowing it was everyone’s first time. While he remained polite throughout, his attitude felt more forced than genuinely welcoming, which took away from the otherwise positive atmosphere.
Final thoughts: We would still recommend the experience—especially for first-timers. Honestly, the 1-hour tour would have been plenty, since 2 hours felt quite long and physically demanding (lots of holding on tightly!). If you’re up for the challenge though, it’s worth doing.
For those interested, photos are available at the end: we received about 45 shots (a mix of stationary and action photos) + 1 video for €20 per jet ski. A fun keepsake to remember the day! The photos aren’t professional though, they’re taken on a normal phone, but still worth it. (Two attached here)
Lockers available on sight for 3€ payable with cash or card (big enough to squeeze clothes and a regular backpack in) Take sunglasses that can’t fall off with y’all, cus you WILL get heaps of salt water right...

Embarking on an exhilarating adventure with Radikal Jet Ski in Tenerife was an experience filled with thrills and excitement. Overall, I had a good time and would recommend them to fellow thrill-seekers; however, there were a few aspects that left something to be desired.
Let's start with the positives. The team at Radikal Jet Ski was undeniably helpful, funny and accommodating. From assisting with booking arrangements to providing safety instructions before hitting the waves, their staff ensured that every guest felt prepared and supported throughout the experience. Despite some organizational challenges amongst them selfs, they managed to deliver a service that was adequate and met our needs.
Now, onto the areas that could use improvement. One aspect that stood out was the maintenance of the equipment. While the jet skis provided an adrenaline-pumping ride, it was evident that some of them were showing signs of wear and tear and in our case we had to change jet ski mid ride. This raised concerns about safety and reliability, and it would be beneficial for Radikal Jet Ski to prioritize regular maintenance and upkeep to ensure the safety of their guests. Washing the life vests more frequently or replacement is also suggested as they smelled a bit :|
Additionally, the organization of the operation could be better streamlined. There were moments of confusion and delay, particularly during check-in/out and equipment allocation. With clearer communication and more efficient processes in place, guests would be able to make the most of their time on the water without unnecessary delays or frustrations.
Despite these shortcomings, my overall experience with Radikal Jet Ski was positive, and I would still recommend them to those seeking an adrenaline-fueled adventure in Tenerife. With some improvements in maintenance and organization, Radikal Jet Ski has the potential to elevate their service to new heights and provide an even more enjoyable experience for...
Read moreWe’d had a few days at our hotel and had been watching the jet skis go past. My 16 year old son had said a couple of times that it looked fun so I just thought I’d have a little look to see if I could find anywhere local to book a trip out in a jet ski. Radikal Jet Ski came up and after a little bit of looking at the website, we decided on a 2 hour safari. They were very responsive to WhatsApp messages and answered all my questions. We arrived 30 minutes before our time booked and were given life jackets and a safety briefing. We went out as a group of 4 jet skis (3 singles and a double) The guys were all absolutely lovely and so friendly. My son absolutely loved his time out on the jet ski. The child has no fear! My daughter and I were on a double and I must admit, I was slightly nervous to go too fast in the beginning but the group were really patient with me and the lead boat came back a couple of times to check I was ok. I soon found some confidence and was flying through the waves (well, sort of!) We stopped a couple of times for a little swim and were offered snorkelling masks to look down through the crystal clear water. My son was thrilled as he saw a turtle. There are plenty of photos taken while you’re out and they can be purchased quite reasonably when you get back. We got some fantastic shots. They were emailed to us and we had them all within minutes. We went away feeling really exhilarated. My son asked if he could go again before we went home so on our last day I took him back and he went out for 2 hours with a group on his own. The guys were all so lovely again and welcomed us back and at the end we were very kindly given his photos from that day free. I’d highly recommend this company and we can’t wait to book again when we return...
