Title: A Culinary Gem of India in Tenerife!
Review:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Indian restaurant tucked away in the beautiful streets of Tenerife, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting ambiance that set the stage for a memorable dining experience.
The menu at this Indian restaurant is a true treasure trove of flavors, offering a diverse array of traditional Indian dishes that cater to every palate. The extensive menu showcased the rich and vibrant culinary heritage of India, and I was excited to explore its offerings.
To start, I ordered the vegetable samosas and the chicken tikka. The samosas were perfectly crispy on the outside, with a flavorful and well-seasoned filling that left me craving for more. The chicken tikka beautifully spiced and topped with fresh coriander leaves. It was evident that the chefs had mastered the art of balancing flavors.
Moving on to the main course, I opted for the chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan. The chicken tikka masala was a revelation! The tender chicken pieces were marinated to perfection and cooked in a rich tomato-based gravy that was creamy, tangy, and packed with aromatic spices. The garlic naan, freshly baked and lightly brushed with ghee, was the perfect accompaniment to soak up every bit of that delightful curry.
The service at this Indian restaurant was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Indian cuisine. They provided helpful recommendations, ensuring that every dish was served with care and attention to detail. The presentation of the food was impressive, with each dish beautifully arranged and bursting with vibrant colors.
To end the meal on a sweet note, the staff gave our large group of 8 a complementary Baileys. It was the perfect finale to an extraordinary dining experience.
Overall, this Indian restaurant in Tenerife surpassed my expectations in every way. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was inviting. If you're a lover of Indian cuisine or simply seeking a culinary adventure, I highly recommend visiting this hidden gem. It will transport your taste buds to the vibrant streets of India while enjoying the beauty of Tenerife. Trust me, you won't be...
Read moreWell where do I start. We we welcomed by a nice englishmen . Who was very curtios and polite . He invited us in and the place looked very romantic. From then on its was down hill. I could only bullet point the issues : Waiters and barman were rude to us and other customers. We understood their dialect language . So we knew what they we saying about other customers. Likes of which I dont want to repeat.
Drinks were given, mine was warm , and my wifes was flat . It came in a bottle but it felt it was just a refill bottle.
starters were dry and tasteless. If you closed your eyes and sampled the mixed plater. It all tasted virtually the same. it did not taste fresh just preheated.
Our main was meant to be a simple medium hot chicken curry . But is was looked and tasted down a watered down curry with 6 small chicken pieces. It was a joke.
The restaurant seem to be almost fill up steady. But my mind was most people didnt know how bad the food was.
Paying bill . They couldn't come fast enough. And go. No thankyou for coming . No hand wiped . No customer service.
I would give them a 5 star rating for bad attitude. Bad service. And tasteless food.
AVOID ALL . FOR QUALITY FOOD AND SERVICE, TRY INDIAN VILLAGE . JUST ROUND THE CORNER AND DOWN...
Read moreI’ve been here several times over the years an always found the food and service really good. Unfortunately, this was not the case tonight. Greeted by Steve who sat us opposite the bar, ordered drinks and our food. ( 5 of us in total) Unfortunately when my daughter started putting her rice on her plate 2 cockroaches were sitting in the rest of the rice in the bowl. The one got out an ran off, my son in law took the bowl to the waiter where the cockroach jumped out the bowl an ran up my son in laws arm. We were all put off our food. To make matters worse the table next to us got up an left an so did the couple behind. The reason I write this, was the attitude of Steve who had earlier seated us. When the staff explained what had happened his answer was welcome to Tenerife. Now if that restaurant would have been in the UK it would be closed down. I understand that Tenerife is full of cockroaches but not in your rice bowl. I hope if they do have issues in the kitchen then they sort them out as this restaurant was a really good...
