Can't believe there are 1 star reviews here talking about range. First off, you are welcome to view the range of food before you sit down.
There are pros and cons compared to the other buffet place next door. This place is 11.50 for the buffet, so very well priced.
You have battered prawns, and squid rings. Also prawn and mushroom, so decent seafood. There is roasted/crispy duck, with pancakes and hoisin. There is satay sauce which is amazing. Ribs, curries, and egg fried rice. Chips, crackers. All your standard stuff.
No sushi, and no grilled king prawns or "cold selection" foods. No mixed/special fried rice, just standard egg fried rice.
It has a great selection of deserts, many fresh fruits, and lovely lemon/chocolate cakes, which you can pair with a range of different ice creams. Drinks were not crazy priced, I believe it was less than 3eur for a pint of Dorado. The deserts were amazing.
Can't really go wrong. Not my favourite buffet in fanabe, but definitely 2nd best (because of the great deserts). I still rate it 5stars, was...
Read moreSo I was reading some of the reviews on this after having eaten there and actually think some of the reviews are unfair. So, the selection might be limited with the mains but there were still so many options and the taste was far superior to the hot buffet about three doors down (we ate there last week.) Here, the taste was as expected but nicer. Things could have been hotter but that's why I knocked off a star. The pekin duck was gorgeous as was the hoisin sauce (I had so much and I felt like a pig but what a luxury at a buffet!) and the rest of the meal was really enjoyable. As for the desserts? Just WOW. In contrast to one scoop of ice cream at the other, here there was as much ice cream as you wanted, as well as fruit, banana fritters, and lots of cakes. For 9.35 here or down the road, it's here every time. Service was friendly, and at the end, they left a bottle of liqueur for shots. What more...
Read moreSecond night in Costa Adeje and as per our tradition on our holidays we always have a Chinese Buffet. As this buffet was relatively close to our hotel (Sunwing Fanabe Beach) we decided to give it a go. This was a major mistake. We got there around 8 and there was only one other table occupied, this should have been a warning but we failed to take it. There was very little choice of food and what was there was the dregs and was in most cases like warm at best. In some cases such as chicken skewers it was quite simply cold. Only thing I can honestly say was a reasonable temp was the soup and the egg fried rice. I would have loved to recommend this but unfortunately it is impossible. I would suggest you walk a few steps further and go to the next Chinese buffet that I will...
