The Sun Inn — Restaurant in Adeje

Despite our initial unsuccessful attempt to secure a table last year due to the establishment’s limited seating capacity, we decided to revisit this establishment last evening when availability presented itself.

Our experience was generally positive. We were promptly served with our beverages and subsequently our meals. The menu offered a substantial selection of dishes, and the prices were reasonable. The portions of the meals were generous, and the sausage and mash with gravy were satisfactory. However, the inclusion of cabbage as one of the vegetables was disappointing. Additionally, the mash had an unusual flavour that I was unable to identify. The absence of gravy further diminished my overall impression.

While my wife found the meal acceptable, she expressed dissatisfaction with the overpowering amount of BBQ sauce used on the chicken and the lack of flavour in the chips.

The atmosphere was unfortunately lacking. The establishment’s ambiance resembled that of a dimly lit alleyway, which was exacerbated by the presence of an lucky lucky individual selling bags to passersby directly in front of our table. This situation created an uncomfortable atmosphere, prompting us to desire an early departure. Regrettably, we will not be returning to this...

An excellent restaurant in Costa Adeje. Food here is fantastic and reasonably priced. The location is perfect for us as we’re staying at the hotel nearby. They have everything from fish & chips to Sunday dinners.

This restaurant is always busy. Suitable for all age groups. High chairs and kids menu are available. Friendly and lively atmosphere. Extensive menu and great selection of food & drinks. A lot to choose from. Generous food portion size.

8 of us were there for dinner that evening. Last minute booking so there had to put us at 2 separate tables. As usual, they are very accommodative.

Everyone was happy and enjoyed their meals. My Yorkshire Boat was fabulous. It’s a Giant Yorkshire pudding filled with my choice of filling which is braised beef and mash. My sister in law’s roasted beef Sunday dinner was delightful. Steak was cooked to perfection. Love their fish and chips too. No wonder this place is very popular.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Very busy. Great staff and well priced. Great staff everywhere. Very impressed by a young girl from luton. 18 yrs old and is fab. Looks after herself has her own apartment and still had money to spend. She got fed up with the pittance employers paid in UK. What a disgrace in 2020 and 16 to 18 yrs old get £4.30 ish an hour. Some people could be married and have a child. The UK / Scorland I'm not sure but Scotland is a disgrace regarding this. These young ones are doing the same as 30 yrs old and and are going to Uni or at Uni. What is the UK going to do about this or Scotland just going to hand out to everyone who doesn't want to work. No wonder it's such a sad state of affairs. I applaud that young girl we have just spoken too. 2020 in Scotland and it's so embarrassing. I was 16 when I started working after a college course and passed . Thst was early 70's not 2020....
