Unique Bar — Restaurant in Adeje

What an absolute joke – avoid if you value decent service or drinks.

We came here as a group of eight and were honestly looking forward to a chilled drink in what looked like a nice place. Sadly, that was the only nice thing about it.

We ordered an espresso martini and what arrived looked – and tasted – like dishwater. Genuinely undrinkable. We politely sent it back and asked to swap it for a simple rum and coke instead. You’d think that would be straightforward. Nope – they charged us another €10 for the replacement.

To make things even more ridiculous, the staff behind the bar (three of them!) then all tasted the original drink, chucked it in a blender, tasted it again, and tried to bring it back out to us as if that would somehow fix how bad it was. Absolutely bizarre.

The poor server looked mortified. Clearly embarrassed by the nonsense coming from the man behind the bar who seemed more interested in proving a point than offering even the most basic customer service.

There were eight of us. Had the drink just been swapped without the drama, we would’ve likely been in there for the next week – 2 or 3 drinks each over several nights. Instead, we left, feeling ripped off and unwelcome.

Truly fine place among many restaurant sh*tholes in this town. But first let me mention it's of course not a real grill restaurant with fries and bread made in the house. Still, the experience was v. nice. We had burgers that were enough to satisfy rather big hunger (10€ with fries). Prepared with good ingredients, tasty sauce and lots of cheese. The place itself has a great atmosphere, mostly due to a good selection of funky music played from nice speakers. But most of all the service was to the point. Waitresses were cheerful, competent, very good English speaking and engaged. Asked if we needed anything more than expected, brought more mayonnaise although we didn't ask for. It was a pleasure to leave a tip. Seriously. Although I have to admit that the owner should invest a little more, because the furniture or spicers looked a little shoddy. What an awesome bar! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was just right—cool music, great lighting, and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. The place has a really stylish yet comfortable feel, perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a night out.

The drinks were top-notch! Creative cocktails, a solid selection of beers, and everything was made with care. You can tell the bartenders really know what they’re doing—not only are they skilled, but also super friendly and welcoming. They made great recommendations and made sure everyone was having a good time.
