I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Booked a table with a sea view 5 weeks in advance as we normally do, whilst we did get a sea view table we were seated directly next to a clearing area with serving staff queuing around us to place DIRTY PLATES on the trolley, FOOD on the FLOOR (photo)which was not cleaned up and the constant NOISE from such activity. Not exactly the ambience we were looking for!!!

I notice in a previous review the owner replied to the review:-

“ We are sorry that you could not sit next to the window, but as we explained, tables were reserved and if the guests have booked them in advance, they are in their right to enjoy it when they get to the Restaurant.”

It’s hard to enjoy the sea view when surrounded by such MAYHEM !!!!!

The paella was seriously lacking in meat and fish. We were given the bill whilst still finishing our wine and without asking for it which was quickly followed up with the card machine.

We contacted the restaurant informing them of our experience as we had another reservation during our holiday. We got no reply although they did read the message. On returning to the restaurant we discovered that they had sat us at the same table…….actions speak loudly!!!

Whilst I do understand sometimes things can go wrong I believe how they are dealt with is a good indicator of whether an establishment values customer satisfaction.

Clearly the owner does not value customer experience or customer loyalty.

We have visited this restaurant numerous times over many years and am so disappointed not only by our experience but by the lack of common courtesy to respond to messages. I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Restaurante La Farola Del Mar, and I must say it was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve ever had! Located right on the beach, the restaurant not only offers breathtaking ocean views but also an incredible atmosphere paired with warm, attentive service.

Service I want to give special recognition to the lovely girls working on the right side of the restaurant ( Jada Michelle Daria). Their smiles, kindness, and dedication made us feel truly welcomed and cared for. They were incredibly helpful with menu recommendations, attentive to every detail, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Their genuine warmth and professionalism truly set this experience apart.

Food The cuisine at La Farola Del Mar is simply outstanding. Every dish was expertly prepared, fresh, and bursting with flavor. I particularly recommend the seafood—it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can tell the chefs put their heart and soul into every plate they serve.

Atmosphere & Location The beachfront location gives this restaurant an unparalleled charm. Enjoying a delicious meal while gazing out at the ocean waves is an experience that's hard to put into words. During our visit to Restaurante La Farola del Mar, we experienced an unforgettable evening filled with great food, impeccable service, and an ambiance that was nothing short of perfect.

From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming behavior of the staff stood out. The service was attentive and professional, ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was handled with care.

The quality of the food was exceptional. We ordered Veal Cheeks with Red Wine and Truffle, Leg of Lamb, Fillet Steak, and Onion Soup, each dish perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The desserts were equally delightful, beautifully presented, and a sweet end to a fantastic meal.
