If you haven't come to visit Jardines de Nivaria Hotel in Costa Adeje, Tenerife, Canary Islands - Spain, you may not be living life well. This is a five-star hotel that should be a model for all five-star hotels around the world. The staff at this hotel as a whole is super hospitable, courteous, and professional. No need was unmet on our honeymoon trip. The description on the website is 100% accurate. They have heated saltwater pools throughout the property year-round. They have three (3) super classy restaurants on the property for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, night caps, with nightly entertainment. If you can pick the breakfast included option on your stay. You will not be disappointed. Right outside of the property is the beach. You have private access to your property via security key. The property itself is very well designed. Days can get very hot in Spain and the property has areas where you can sun, or you can shade. Hallways surrounded by rock formations, waterfalls and natural island plants not only cool the environment, but muffles outside sound with water white noise to make it easy to rest and be in privacy throughout the day and night. The front desk was helpful with picking excursions, directions and recommendations. Staff prints out your flight if you email it to the front desk the night before your flight. I cannot say enough great things about this property. I was thrilled with my experience and so was my wife. They have a spa on the property called Aequor Spa that is magnificent. A must for anyone who want to relax and experience pure bliss on the stay at the hotel. The staff is international and knowledgeable in all aspects of island life, island adventures, and very accommodating to all guests. I really enjoyed my time there and I hope to visit again soon.

Jardines de Nivaria pleasantly surprised us in nearly every way. We were luckier than expected with a part-sea view from our room, enough to remind you you’re by the ocean, even though it wasn’t a full panoramic vista. Breakfast was a highlight: the buffet was plentiful, fresh, and delicious, with plenty of variety and the sort of quality that sets a positive tone for the day. The staff were extremely accommodating throughout - helpful, attentive, and always polite. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning: it blends modern comforts with classic touches you might expect of upscale American-style hotels, but with Canarian warmth, lush gardens, art deco influences, and beautiful architectural details (including a striking stained-glass dome over the reception). Location is excellent: just 15 minutes from the airport, direct access to Playa de Fañabé, and well-placed for exploring Costa Adeje. One personal recommendation: if you want something more authentic and less packed with tourists, Playa del Duque is a better pick than Playa de Fañabé. You’ll get a more relaxed atmosphere, fewer crowds, and still beautiful beaches (and less Full English Breakfast/Indian/Chinese takeaway food restaurants for the British crowds) The pool is fantastic and coming during low season was perfect as it wasn’t too crowded and waiting staff were frequently popping over. Overall verdict: Jardines de Nivaria offers a luxurious, relaxing stay - great for couples or travellers looking for comfort, quality breakfasts, attractive surroundings, and excellent service. It delivers strong value, especially if you pick your room and dining options with care.

Came here for a couple of days of pre-xmas sunshine and relaxation. Absolutely beautiful place and in a perfect location. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. We arrived early, before the check in time, and were given drinks and a snack at the bar while we waited. Our room was in the best spot, overlooking the pools and beyond at the sea, with our own private terrace which had the sun all day. The room had everything you would need, hairdryer, tea and coffee making, water, robes and slippers (though one robe had a torn pocket), toiletries- I personally prefer them in individual bottles with the ingredients listed so I can check for harmful chemicals. Unfortunately these were in dispensers, so I had no idea what was in them and could not try them. I've marked a star down for this, I understand the desire to save on plastic and cost but for the price of the room I still expect individual toiletries. I had annoyingly twisted my ankle on the journey over and it was no trouble to get a huge bag of ice from the staff to help with the swelling. We also asked for more coffees for the room which were brought quickly. It would be nice if they had decaff tea already in the room too. We had dinner and breakfast in the buffet restaurant and there was also the option of having freshly made dishes with a chef ready to prepare an omelette or baked fish etc if you wanted. There was so much choice of starter, mains, deserts and cheeses etc, every dish was well presented, and the whole area was immaculate. If we had stayed longer we definitely would have tried a meal at the a la carte restaurant on site, perhaps if we go back next time.

There was nothing 5 star or luxury upon entrance to this hotel. There is free parking, which is a plus, but it's in a dark, tight, smelly underground garage. The whole hotel just screams outdated. Upon check in the staff were not vey friendly and spoke little English, despite being a major tourist destination. There are multiple buildings so staff accompanied us to our room to then further explain how things worked like the A/C. Once again we were underwhelmed and disappointed. We had a "view" overlooking the pool and a decent size terrace. Inside the room was dark and dated. There was no desire to want to touch anything. The bed wasn't comfortable nor were the linens luxurious. There was hair in the tub. The shower was basic. They provided a water bottle daily and there was a Krups Piccolo coffee machine. They put chocolate on your pillow every night, but it didn't taste very good. It was my boyfriends birthday while we were there and they left a bottle of sparkling wine which was a fun surprise. We were frustrated because we wanted to use the locked mini fridge. Reception tried to sell us a 20 euro pack of water/snacks to be able to use it otherwise it was 10 euro a day just to put things inside. One day we got locked out on our terrace! When we called reception for rescue they hung up quickly as though this happens often and when the man let us in he said the door locks automatically when it's closed... Breakfast buffet: We enjoyed spending the morning on the terrace overlooking the pool for breakfast. You find your seat first so they can bring you a plate. If you want coffee, they serve it then which was frustrating because it gets cold while you're getting your food. Due to COVID you could not serve yourself. It was annoying when you wanted water or juice because you can only carry so much and you would have to go back and forth for one small glass of water. They had a good selection of things, hot and cold, but it was the same every day. Some mornings the staff were friendly and nice. Others, they were rude and cold. They would take your plates from you without even asking if you were finished. One day my partner and I both got up to go get more food (but left a plate of untouched fruit) and when we came back our table had been cleared and someone else's bags were there. When we asked staff what happened, they just moved the other person's stuff to a different table without even telling them. They have live music every night, and although the 3 different singers we saw weren't that good it was still fun to have a drink outside and listen/laugh. The pool is large with waterfalls and one of them is heated. The jacuzzi really just kind of spits water around rather than massage jets. You have towel cards which gets you 2 towels. We noticed that, even though you aren't supposed to, people would save their towels and put them out around 7-8 in the morning to claim their spots. We had massages at the spa. It was fine but nothing special. The rooms weren't dark or cozy, and they didn't have aromatherapy just music (which they promptly stopped when our massage was done). The gym is small. They have pool tables and tennis courts but you have to pay to use them. Overall we were disappointed in this hotel and would not consider it 5 stars or stay...

We are currently day 4 into a week stay at this hotel , I'll start with the positives , beautiful grounds and hotel is kept immaculately clean in all areas . The staff are all incredible, very hard working and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, clean but a little outdated. The food is in our experience pretty average and very basic /bland compared to other destinations in the world we have travelled too, but it's plentiful and something different to choose from daily if your used to very basic ,unflavoured food, personally we don't really like a buffet evening meal and we presumed they would be a couple more dining restaurants included in the full board package we booked so this is a little disappointing. We have had to eat out at other restaurants as we can,t face eating the same bland repetitive cheaper option food. The charge of water with meals is confusing, understandable other drinks charged but water should be included with meals with no extra charge as it is in most other destinations. In hindsight we wouldn't have booked the full board option as we are what you call very big foodies and have eaten all over the world so we are disappointed with the overall food quality. The pool area is gorgeous ,but so so quite even a very quite bit of background music would make it feel less like a library, just feels a bit lacking in atmosphere. After reading reviews before we arrived then arriving we have come to the conclusion that a good majority of these reviews were written by an older clientele. We are alot younger in age to the majority of guests and so therefore think that the hotel description should have a caption stating fantastic hotel for over 60years of age , as it would be more suited to that age group unfortunately we are a younger age group and it's definitely not a hotel catered towards the younger age groups. Maybe if this is stated in the description then we wouldn't have been misled by all the reviews. If it was a loud over 18,s holiday then the description would state that and we definitely wouldn't book that either.Nothing against anyone of the older age group but it is very misleading towards visitors who are not in that age bracket. The price of the full board package we paid doesn't reflect with the experience we are having and it's been very costly for this type of holiday. Also paying extra money to use the spa which is part of the hotel is ridiculous and very greedy.Never in 30 years plus travelling have we had to pay extra for a spa area in any hotel around the world .Unfortunately I think we have choosen the wrong hotel in the area for our personal needs which could have been avoided if the description and age appropriation was clearly stated in reviews , misleading to say the least . We will try and enjoy the rest of our stay but unfortunately we won't be one of the many guests who return 8,10,14 times . This is our honest opinion and hopefully a clear one in helping other guests choose the right hotel for them. Thankyou so far to all the amazing hotel staff , you all do a fantastic job keeping the older generation especially happy , hence why they obviously return year in year out ,it's just not the right hotel for us , we like a little bit more going on we,re not ready to...

This was our third time visiting and once again we were really impressed with the level of service, value and attention to detail. ||We have visited the hotel the last three years in a row and the team have set and maintained a really high standard of service. Every member of staff we encountered across the hotel was really kind and positive, which lead to a really positive atmosphere around the hotel. The consistency of the high level, friendly service is what makes the hotel truly excellent. It was also great seeing staff from previous visits still working at the hotel. The best service we have received at any hotel! ||My husband and I opted for a suite for this stay (previously we have stayed in standard pool view rooms - which have been lovely). We stayed in room G303 which was recently refurbished- what a fantastic room! The new styling is in keeping with the hotel decor and all of the new furniture and fixtures are a high standard. The suite also has a great view of the sea. I would highly recommend a suite if you’ve not previously stayed in one! The room was always cleaned to a high standard by the housekeeping team. ||It’s also great to see further innovation since our last visit in the form of the app, allowing you to access key hotel services/information quickly and conveniently. We ordered additional items to the minibar twice during our stay and on both occasions the items arrived within the hour, which was great.||We stayed half board again and we’d highly recommend it. The dining at this hotel is great, with a buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Although meals are buffet style, some of the items are cooked then and there to your liking. The restaurant has great variety and there’s something for everyone. Every member of staff we encountered in the restaurant (chefs and waiters) were all really friendly with high attention to detail. ||The pool continues to be one of my favourite parts of the hotel. The heated salt water pool is lovely and even if you aren’t keen on swimming, it’s a delight to cool off in. Sun loungers continue to be readily available into the afternoon and you won’t find people ‘saving’ loungers, which adds to the relaxing vibe around the pool.||I would highly recommend the hotel if you are looking for a high quality, relaxing break. We will definitely...
