It was good to tick off our Michelin guide lists. The food is okay for a Michelin star but could do with some seasoning as the majority of the dishes were a bit bland.
Front of house wouldn’t let us have two separate meals ie wife wanted smaller menu and I wanted the bigger menu. I was shocked as all the other Michelin star restaurants always do this service, can only presume that the front of house and chef would find it confusing for the 2extra dishes for one person(bit embarrassing). Since then the service went down as the waiter was taken back when we said we would go for the smaller menu.
However, the service was shocking, I know the process is the front of house poor your water and wine, but both our glasses where empty for a long period of time and I poured my own only to be humiliated by the staff for doing so, really wanted to leave after this point.
Ordered another bottle only to chase on three occasions as we had not wine with the meal. They did pay for the second wine but the experience was already ruined.
Got the feeling that the chef and front of house are out of their depth if you don’t order the full menu and wine flight.
Missold the Michelin Star experience and one for the Michelin guide to revisit.
Shame as this was our last meal at the hotel and one that has put me off coming back.
Very disappointed. Have 2 stars as two waitresses were really professional and effort for chef for the food.
My advice book into el rincon...

There are many types of seats to choose from, such as at the large counter where the safe will cook in front of us in the contemporary dining room with 100% panoramic windows or on the beautiful balcony overlooking the garden and the sea. If there is a chance, I would like to...

We visited San Ho to celebrate my partner's birthday and opted for the tasting menu. From start to finish, both the service and food were exceptional.
The team walked us through the menu, explaining how they source ingredients from different Canary Islands. I particularly loved the map provided, showing exactly where each dish’s components came from.
Each course felt special. The team not only introduced the dish but also shared its origin and the best way to enjoy it. This was incredibly helpful, as the dishes were so creative, I wouldn’t have known what to expect without their guidance. The attention to detail extended beyond the food itself—everything, including the plates and cutlery, changed throughout the meal, which was a delightful touch.
Every dish was my favorite… until the next one came! The entire experience was full of surprises and flavor.
We’re already planning to return and try the other set menu. For anyone considering it—don’t hesitate! It’s...
