Stayed for 11 days during my holiday in October. Hotel has great location just 5-10 minutes to the beach and the same to the stores (even 24/7 convenience store). Siam park is just across the road so if you are water park fan this is the best located hotel for you.||Hotel itself is very old and i think that this was actually one of the first hotels in Playa America. In fairness you can see it as the rooms are tired looking. We had to change our first room (210) as we could not sleep due to the very bad quality of mattresses. They were at least 20 years old and every movement during the night was very painful and also noisy. Second room (421) was better looking (new paint, better beds) and also cleaner. ||If you stay in this hotel ask for the room on the higher floor and at the middle or on the right side of the hotel. On the left side there is a bus station and some rooms could be very noisy specially in the mornings. Our room was 5th from the left and we could still hear a bit noise some mornings. ||Pool is very average but at least they clean it every morning. There is no restaurant facilities in the hotel but they have laundry room (ā¬5 euro per wash).||They also have couple of PC downstairs so you can connect to the internet (1 euro per 10 min). You can also connect to theirs WI-Fi with signal all over the hotel (ask for password at the reception). ||On my return back i noticed that i forgot my camera in the room. I contacted the hotel and was delighted to hear that they found it. That was very honest and i really appreciate that.||||Would i stay again? Probably not. The hotel is very average and also services (including cleaning and towel changing) are very poor. But if you are looking for something really cheap with a great location, Boringuen Apartments could be a reasonable solution. But really dont expect...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur experience was ok! The room we were given was super basic, but was very clean and we were happy. We overlooked the pool/garden area, and caught the sunset perfectly every evening.||Our stay was in October, and it was very hot in the rooms with no Aircon (or even a fan!). I dread to think what it'd be like at the peak of summer. Also my bed was so squeeky, I only had to move an inch and it made so much noise that it kept us awake every night. We would have told the hotel, but the reception desk is only open for a few hours in the morning. It made it hard to get any info, or talk to anyone about any issues etc. ||There was a security guard on site at all times. They didn't speak English (although I guess that is our fault really! we are in a Spanish speaking country yet we expect everyone else to speak English!) So we couldn't communicate, even when we were asking for Taxi information. But having them on site made everything seem safe and secure. ||I wouldn't particularly choose to stay here again, but if for example I was offered a place on holiday with some family or friends and they were already booked in here, I would have no problem...

Absolutely awesome ocean views from 7th floor apartment. It may be recommendable to ask for a higher floor. Apartments generally fine. Kitchen utensils a bit lacking in range, though. Such as microwaveable bowls and ladles. But all in all, the apartment had decent amenities, including microwave, toaster, kettle and mini-fridge. The pool was very inviting. Though, I didn't swim this time (my third visit to the island, so far). The entrance on the ground floor to the first of the two glass doors had a slightly undulated floor, leading to water collecting in rainy times. Hope that would be fixed. When paying by card it was an option to use Euro or your home currency. It was not clear which was cheaper. There was a slightly noisy bar in the neighborhood with loud karaoke. Beach and shops including hairdressers, all nearby. Beach weather even in November(2021)! There are odd days with rain, though. The views were the absolute show-stopper. Have a good one, kind...
