Good food but service needs to be looked into.
Food was mostly good, the pizzas were nice with a lovely base. Pasta sauce on the thinner end, typically an Italian would offer Parmesan as a topping for pasta.
I had asked for water - simply “water” and was given sparkling?? Why would this be the default when the menu has normal water?
Most of the waiters were friendly, however one or two older waiters were quite rude, almost seemed annoyed that they had to take your order which is incredibly off putting.
Also asked for a pudding which we then waited 20 minutes for however it seemed to be forgotten. Multiple waiters had been looking at the table however not one simply asked “are you getting on ok?” And instead just kept (not subtly) staring which is very uncomfortable. Maybe what would help is having a more consistent waiter deal with a table as there was plenty of staff, I wonder if only one knowing we had ordered would cause less confusion than multiple people keeping an eye but not knowing what was going on.
Ended up not getting the pudding so just waited 20 minutes for nothing - if something is not available just communicate this.
Overall a shame as it could have been a great dinner, main issue seems to be a lack of attention to detail and...
Read moreWonderful, wonderful restaurant, friendly welcoming staff and atmosphere. We're so glad we booked because it was very popular, in fact the restaurant was full. I had the Lasagne, beautiful, sauce and mince were excellent quality and very well presenter, and my friend had the shrimp, which she assures me was one the best meals she's had in Majorca and equally, was beautifully presented. My only criticism is it was a birthday booking, and this was sadly not acknowledged during our evening, would have been nice to have added a little something special to the evening. Also, I am sure their garlic bread is considered a delicacy by the locals, but having a different taste, I guess we weren't too impressed on that count. The garlic aioli was so moist, it turned the inside of the bread soggy and cold. We returned one portion, because it tasted doughy and undercooked, they were very good in that they replaced our first portion with another, it was much hotter, but again the inside of the bread tasted soggy and gold. A garlic butter and more thoroughly cooked through would have been preferable, but every restaurant has their own style and it should not deter you from trying this amazing...
Read moreWe have visited this restaurant several times each year on our holidays for the past 10 years in Majorca .However we visited it last night and were treated very rudely by a man and woman at front of house. We had our table booked in advance and received a phone call earlier to confirm the booking and the option to have both tables together if available. However when we arrived we had no welcome at all with the menu just thrown on the table. We asked if the tables could be swapped as there was another free table available however we were spoken to very rudely were treated very condescending. There’s always a nice way to treat customers and I’m not a complainer in general but I thought front of house staff were out of line. This was never the case on our past visits as it was such a friendly restaurant before It’s incredibly busy so maybe they don’t care any more. Thankfully the waiters were much friendlier. Name tags could be helpful. It’s also very hot inside but the food is very good the pizza could be bigger. Sadly it’ll be our last visit as there’s plenty more good restaurant that treat their guest...
