La Veda Arrocería — Restaurant in Alicante

Have been looking for an authentic arroz with soccarat (I know we aren't in Valencia and it's not called a paella here), but really wanted a balanced arroz. At last, found one! Arroz was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients and not too salty. Very interesting to eat it with aoili. Another special dish I would recommend is the fried artichoke with two fried eggs and jamon on top. There are more dishes we would like to try next time.

Service was excellent! It is helpful if you make a reservation especially on a busy Sunday, or you can go as soon as they serve lunch at 1pm. Brush up some Spanish phrases as there is no English menu and waiters only speak Spanish, a true fabulous local experience. It seems that there were many repeat customers. Look forward to going...

Si estás buscando una experiencia gastronómica inolvidable en Alicante, La Veda es el lugar perfecto para deleitarte con arroces increíbles y un ambiente acogedor. Mi pareja y yo pasamos unos días maravillosos en la ciudad y, sin dudarlo, repetimos dos veces en este encantador restaurante.

Los arroces son simplemente espectaculares; cada bocado está lleno de sabor y frescura, lo que refleja la calidad de los ingredientes utilizados. Pero eso no es todo, ya que los entrantes también son dignos de mencionar. Las patatas strogonoff son una verdadera delicia; cremosas y sabrosas, ¡no puedes irte sin probarlas!

Y para cerrar la comida con broche de oro, los postres son brutales. Cada uno de ellos es un festín para el paladar, haciendo que quieras dejar espacio para más.

Además, no puedo dejar de mencionar la cercanía y amabilidad de David, el dueño. Su atención al cliente es excepcional y hace que te sientas como en casa desde el primer momento.

We were a bit apprehensive about our little one due to the general lack of kids menu's in Spanish restaurants but although not advertised as such they tend to have a simple dish of pasta, which works as a kids menu.
