This was the worst experience whilst out dining in Alicante. The service was terrible, they are understaffed and clearly under a lot of pressure, customers left waiting outside whilst tables clearly vacant inside. Once seated you’re left to your own devices without being attended to for almost 45 minutes. The food was mediocre, lacking any semblance of maghrébin authenticity. I ordered a lamb tagine - the meat was harder then my childhood in Algeria. I do not recommend this restaurant at all and would encourage others to stay away. To the manager: I understand energy prices are high right now but when your own staff are asking customers to ask you to turn on the AC you really should think about turning it on so your staff can work comfortably rather then dropping sweat all over...

This restaurant was unbelievable! We had the lamb tajin with cherries and almonds (the lamb literary fell off the bone), the vegetarian couscous (it came with a broth on the side to pour on the couscous, which was super flavorful), and the filo pastry chicken "pastela" (sweet and savory, supef delicious!!). We also had the baklava and another typical dessert with cheese inside (it wasnt too cheesy though), and the morrocan tea to help digest the meal. Besides the food being excellent, a highlight was our server Ibrahim, who was super welcoming, fast, and friendly. All in all, an incredible dinner, and about 50eur for both of us. This is the most expensive maroccain restaurant I’ve ever been too! Been there 2 times and they overcharge and give you very little food. There couscous they service like it’s for a 5 year old kid! And when you ask for more couscous they charge your for that aswell.

All people that have eat Marocco in food know that couscous should make you full when you eat it. You should not need to other more food after that!

And there bastella is the smallest bastella in the world but they charge you the most expensive price for that! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone in Alicante. They have much better maroccain restaurant...
