Big disappointment. Not good food and not good service. We was four friends going out together in Alicante to have dinner and choosed this restaurant. Two of us choosed sirloin steak, and since I don't fancy too raw meat i always order my steak "medium plus". Meaning I want my steak closer to well done than raw. The other friend of mine ordered the sirloin steak "medium rare" which the waiter didn't understand, so we had to say "medium minus". Meaning he wanted the steak prepared a little under medium done. None of us was served the steak how we ordered it, and after a little cutting i had to return the steak to the kitchen. The steak was returned, but now the chef had prepared it well done and the meat was grey in colour. The third guy ordered a pizza that was just ok, but nothing more than that. The fourth guy food had the dish served much later than the rest of us, and the portion was so tiny that he ended up eating some of the pizza that one of our friends had ordered. The waiter was obviously pretty angry that i returned the steak to the kitchen, so the rest of the dinner went really bad. The waiter did his best not to look in our direction, and when we wanted to pay we had to ask to pay several times before he came to collect the payment.

Even if i NEVER want to come back, i still want to give the restaurant some advices:

Remember to cook the steak the way the customer order it. Nothing more, nothing less. If you miss, don't get grumpy on the customer. Just fix it. I don't care how the cook like the steak. It's the customer that pays the dinner, and even if he want the steak cooked well done, just do it. Period!

Pay attention to the customer when they try to order more to drink, complain on the food or want to pay.

Put a smile on your face, and the guests will smile back. Not one single time we saw the waiters smiling.

To be a waiter or run a restaurant is really not...

Don’t know about the food but the people working there are totally not customer friendly or even customer oriented. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated outside. The waiter understood that we didn’t know Spanish but somehow he told us to wait for 5 minutes. So we waited for 5 minutes, saw that a table is getting available outside and we came up to the waiter to remind him about us. In the meantime, a random group of 4 people came and were seated instead of us, we came to the waiter and told him that we waited in the line for this table. However, he offered us to sit inside. Why would we like to be seated inside of we waited to be seated outside!?!?!? No one did even say sorry or something, not even reacted to us saying that those group of random people didn’t wait in the line and came after us!!!! Horrible client service!!! I am sure if we spoke Spanish he would be more loyal to us. Will not say a word about the food, even though I tasted the food last time. I just want to highlight that this attitude is the second time I visited this restaurant. Last time, I did accept the inside table because I was super hungry but this time we just left the place as the personal is incapable of solving the issues and showing respect to customers!!! Arrived to the restaurant couple of minutes after 10 PM, asked for the menu and They gave me a table, after five minutes I Asked for the menu again because they have forgot me, ordered the special from the menu. It was supposed To be Entrecote With gorgonzola sauce and double fried potato, sounds wonderful, I ordered Medium grilled, i receive the stake after 15minutes, I looked at the plate and I couldn’t see any(Entrecote) on it, It was a very boring sirloin steak instead, I’m OK with that in case the kitchen informed me about it, my expertise as a chef and owner to 4 Restaurants for 30 years could not accept that and I asked to talk with the lady that serve me that night, she took the question to the chef in the kitchen Why he serve another detail then it said in the menu, but the chef Was very sure that he served me Entrecote, (Wrong agin)I have visited this restaurant Every time I visit Alicante for several times and usually enjoy The service and the food there, but this has to be a awakening call to this restaurant and probably all the others to be honest and Probably explain that something wrong happened in the kitchen then everybody will be happy, probably I could visit this restaurant again, but I don’t feel like doing it after this incident and How they Handle...
