After the siesta during the day, it's fiesta at night.

Siesta This place is a kitchen of two tales. A sort of kitchen share, the first of its kind that I have ever seen. Breakfast is run by one group, a purple bearded chef and a lady with a serious arm injury. She proudly shows the pictures of her "toothbrush" (plates and screws in her arm). Whipping out photos at a moment's notice even if you're not interested. These two are such an odd couple, have a set way of running their business. And for the list of flaws I could point out, I have to say it strangely works and has a very loyal following. The breakfast works on building your own. So you have to ask every single item on your plate. This has two issues, one you have to ask for every single item and quantities you want... Secondly boy did I feel like a glutinous puns pig asking for 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 .... Etc. being able to just say a big breakfast speeds things up, and also means that you are not so self conscious. But the biggest issue here was the time delay. I think it's the kitchen size. And there are only 2 staff members, leading to huge time problems. We were second in the door, and 5 tables arrived after us. It took 45 minutes for us to get served, and the tables after us I dread to think. Service here is extremely slow, exponentially based on what order you arrive. And yet no one was angry, upset, or even pissed off. Of course some tables realised they wouldn't be getting served within the hour. So without complaining they got up and just left. But everyone was ok with it, we were lucky and our sitting took over an hour. Great food, but they really need more staff... A strange and fascinating experience, something I still cannot wrap my head around.

Fiesta Yes I definitely think it's the kitchen size, as Fiesta can be a little slow as well. Max and Veronica run the Mexican restaurant well, and the first thing you notice is that there are 5 staff members. I think we came during a slow down season, as one waiter was a little green. For whatever reason he kept trying to serve us other tables. The food here was fantastic. Real good Mexican food, with a very authentic feel to the place. The restaurant is brightly colored and very festive. Giving a street food kind of vibe about the place. Wifey went for the chicken tacos, and hubby went for the slow cooked beef. This is something different in the area, and serve some really fantastic finger food. The refried beans and the side dish of rice was well received, because if you like me you don't like hot and spicy food full stop it helps temper any dishes that might upset you. That being said there is a lot on a single plate. And fiesta also offers more than three tachos if you're feeling hungry. At this point it feels like one of those American food challenges. This is a place that's definitely worth visiting especially if you want to have a break from Spanish and...

We only had breakfast here so can't actually comment on the Mexican side. The English breakfast had lots of variety. You pay for each item so could select what you like. It was all cooked fine but the service was shocking by the lady. There was 3 other tables when we got there. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks order to be taken and then another 10 for drinks to arrive. As we were ordering the waitress told us off for not ordering the items in order of the menu as this is what the chef likes. Bit ridiculous to be honest! We were then informed that breakfast would take half an hour to be cooked as there was a lot of us (2 adults and 2 children!) we each had 4 items off the menu so wouldn't exactly say it was a lot. However we didn't mind as we were forewarned. By this point we had finished our first drinks. We then had to wait again. The waitress said I'll be with you in a minute before going to clear tables. She then dealt with another customer paying before eventually making her way to us. Another 10 minutes waiting to be served drinks. The service was just very slow and unfortunately really put us off coming back to try the Mexican food which we were looking forward to. Nearly 2 hours for breakfast with 2 children is...

I am very surprised with the high reviews of this place. We were there today and it's quite bad. The service is very unprofessional and chaotic. Seems like one guy is the cook and the server, doing everything and very stressed. There is a no smoking sign but people smoke, when we asked to move the table because of the smoke they just said no. Only later after more discussion we got the table in another place. We waited 30 mins just to order the food. They do not have tinto de verano, nor radler, they made me self-made radler which was horrible. The food was underwhelming, we had beef tacos and the beef tasted and looked like meat taken out of the soup... The tacos itself were tasteless, side salad was old and sad, rice also tasteless. I don't recommend this...

Fiesta Bar is a small restaurant with pleasant service. The absolute highlight of the meal was the nachos—they were truly amazing! The quesadilla, made with freshly grilled chicken, was also nice. Unfortunately, the enchilada was disappointing. It was a huge portion, but it didn't really taste of anything and was primarily filled with pork sausage and only three small pieces of actual pork. Furthermore, the "empanadas" were not traditional empanadas at all, but rather oily, fried pastry pieces. Overall, the experience was mixed, and the restaurant felt quite overpriced for the quality and lack of flavor in some of the dishes.

The bar/restaurant fiesta is a real find. The team are all very welcoming especially to our grandson Oscar (9 months old). This is not a fast food restaurant, it’s excellent, home cooked, handmade and freshly prepared to order. The food is absolutely amazing, colourful and full of flavour. Portions sizes are very generous. The team are very welcoming and explained the dishes to us. It was a great, fun evening with excellent food and wonderful hosts. We would highly recommend you try this place. I would recommend booking as it does get busy.
