The Fox Gastro Pub and Grill — Restaurant in Arona

Been coming to Margaritas, now called the fox pub for years and although it has had a little bit of a face lift to present the new name and the food is still top class, there appears to be a massive problem with the performing acts!!!!! I think Eddie has lost his touch with getting the best entertainers,,,,, Elaine Alexander well and truly had her outdated music and time on the stage, stevie nicks , more like a bad karaoke singer !!! Just a few couple of drunks liking her not so stevie nicks impersonation and then we get to Neil diamond....... he would not get passed the first round of BGT,,,, would of booked the guy out of fools and horses who sang “ Crwing” before old Neil bad impersonator !!!

Rod Stewart practically saved the night to be fair,,,,,, wasn’t that bad if not a bit tedious having seem him for the last several years.

Best of all they can’t even complete a 3 entertainers show for the rest of this week and looks like they have pulled in some geezer from playing on the front who used to sit there with a bowl ! But good news is,,,,,,,,, he’s on every night this week...... cheap ?

we arrived at the restaurant and immediately they asked us what we wanted to eat, we said it was the first time, after 3 minutes they came back again I said I'm Italian but I also speak German and Spanish and little English.. the waitress only spoke English, we placed our order 2 mixed grills of meat and two shrimp cocktails so far so good... when the waitress asked how the meat was cooked we said not rare a little more medium, the waitress started to get agitated and shout in our faces the types of cooking they had on the tablet and we answered more than medium not rare, she started shouting at us getting very close to my girlfriend's face giving her the tablet in her hand and saying choose the cooking of the meat... at that point I decided to pay for the two Coca-Colas and immediately cancel the order, we are customers normally a customer should be treated with kindness also because we are very polite, we have many friends on the island and also many tour agencies we will really not...

Went there last night,booked a table for 4 people, got seated,waited a while before ask if we wanted a drink, got drinks,then they took food order, food came out,and to be far was excellent, they then took the plates away,we all was going to have a dessert 🍨, the waiter came with the bill,we said we wanted the dessert menu. We had to wait about 20 minutes for the menu, and they didn't come and ask if we wanted another drink. Finally 3 off the dessert came, which was ice cream,the 4th order was for crepes,there was no sign of the 4th order,all 3 of us had finished ,the waiter came and took the empty bowls away,we asked where the 4th order was,to be told that there's no crepes, which should have been pointed out at the time of ordering, which it was, when we said we wasn't happy about that,we was told tough,and he walk off,, Overall very good food, but lack of skills serving people, and rude which is unacceptable,,,just spend your...
