In a previous visit to Lanzarote 2 years ago we came to have breakfast in el jardín secreto a couple of times. We liked it so much that on our last holiday in Lanzarote we took the bus from Puerto del Carmen into Arrecife one morning only to go for breakfast in el jardín secreto. The little patio at the back with the impressive palm trees is a real jewel and you can tell the peace and good energy of the place. It is the perfect place, it’s cool if the weather is too warm and it’s protected from the wind. The sandwiches are very nice, we noticed this time that there was a smaller selection of cakes. The only thing I found that should be improved was the toilet bin. When you wash your hands they have a paper towel dispenser to get your hands dry but the bin to dispose this towels is very small, more like a pencils stand rather than a bin. The food was delicious and so affordable - you could really feel the love and care put into each dish, as well as being filling and healthy.
