La Tentación — Restaurant in Arrecife

Read this review in English at the bottom ▼ ¡Pésimo servicio! Al llegar (mi esposo y yo) intentámos sentarnos en una mesa que tenía una silla en el sol. Antes de sentarme, traté de moverla un poquito lejos del sol y uno de los meseros dijo muy groseramente “NO, NO, no puedes moverla”, quitándome la mesa y jalandola. Entiendo que quieran mantener las mesas donde las tienen, está bien. No hay necesidad de ser grosero con los clientes. En su lugar, podría haber dicho "Lo siento,... tenemos otra mesa al otro lado, está en la sombra". ¿Les cuesta tanto trabajo ser amables? Yo soy turista y en mi país eso no se le hace a los clientes. ¡Eso es una falta de respeto!

El mesero que nos atendió fue otro. No fue el mismo que me arrebató la mesa.

En cuanto al platillo que pedí, las albóndigas no estaban frescas, recien hechas. Como que hasta las acababan de sacar del refrigerador.

También tube que esperar un rato para pedir pan ya que el mesero se desapareció por un buen rato.

Al final, tuvímos que esperar bastante y hasta señas fueron necesarias para llamar su atención y nos trageran la cuenta.

Conclusión: 𝗦𝗶 𝗹𝗼 𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗮 𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝗻 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝘆 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗹𝗼 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗶𝗲, 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗹 𝗹𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱.

▶First off, nothing special about this place. Upon arrival, my spouse and I attempted to sit at a table that had one chair in the sun. Before I sat down, I tried to move it just a little bit away from the sun and one of the waiters very rudely said “NO, NO, you can't move the table” grabbing the table away from me. I understand that you might want to keep the tables where you have them, that's fine. No reason to be rude. Instead, you could have said “I'm sorry,... we have another table on the other side and it's in the shade.” Is that too difficult to say?

The waiter who served us was not the same person. He wasn't rude, he was OK.

I ordered meatballs and I don't think they were fresh. They must have pulled them out from the refrigerator or something.

Had to wait for some time to order some bread and the waiter finally came. At the end, had to wait a little while just to get their attention to get the check too.

Found this place tucked away down a back street of Arrecife. No English (I had someone translating for me over speakerphone luckily) but I ordered house salad and fish croquettes. The salad was gorgeous and a meal in itself! The fish croquettes were to die for, seriously. After my first bite I looked up and the cook was there. He smiled because he knew I was going to melt in a puddle when I ate them.

Go here. Even if you don't have a family member who can translate, use gestures and basic Spanish. The menu is in English, so you'll have no trouble ordering. You...

El personal de la cafetería es maleducado,se han comportado de manera insolidaria y chulesca con una persona con bastón y dificultades físicas para andar. Andábamos yo y mí mujer por el centro de arrecife,en la bonita plaza donde se halla la iglesia de San Ginés y a ella le entraron ganas de ir al baño. Al pasar por delante de la cafetería tentaciones,como ya habíamos estado tomando unos cafés allí pues pensó en ir al baño. Un camarero del local se interpuso delante de ella y con malas formas y maneras casi me atrevería a decir burlescas le impidió físicamente el paso. Nos quedamos anonadados y avergonzados por la casi humillación. Incluso mi mujer le pidió un agua mineral para que el camarero no pusiera problemas para poder ir al baño,negandole el paso e interponiéndose en la entrada del local de manera casi chulesca. Increíble el comportamiento de la persona responsable del local con una persona con bastón y una discapacidad más que visible. Un comportamiento insolidario y maleducado y más con personas con discapacidad. Le pido encarecidamente al colectivo de minusválidos de Lanzarote que tome nota de estos comportamientos...
