Manhattan Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Arrecife

I thought that I was going to give a very nice review, after visiting this place for the 2nd time, but it only made me drop their ratings down by 2 stars. On our 1st visit, we were welcomed, and came to understand that it was a place for the locals. We were served by a nice waiter who spoke a little English. The first flop was that myself and my partner ordered 2 different cocktails, but they both looked exactly the same. It was served in a fish bowl glass and had blue at the bottom. But ohh well, we went along with it and ordered shots .. Sambuca shots. But we got.. I don't know.. some sort of shots, maybe a brandy, whiskey? Ahhh It doesn't stop there... We initially ordered a waffle with nutella, but when our plate arrived, you would think that we ordered a slab of just nutella. The thing was grim... "how about some waffle with that nutella?" . Now to top it off, the service was soo slow, I could have gone back to my apartment and prepared a 3 course meal in the time it took to get a drink. Too laid back (even for spain). Not recommended unless you just want to play pool. The Heineken bar next door...

Soy una clienta que suele ir bastante a Manhattan y todo súper bien , siempre pido mi mojito negro y estupendo , pero hoy me encuentro con personal totalmente nuevo y desgraciadamente no saben trabajar cara al público , pedí mi mojito negro de siempre y me lo trajeron sin azúcar , no pasa nada entiendo , había mucha gente y estaban liados , pero en mi mesa dos compañeros pidieron mojitos los cuales tampoco tenían azúcar , se lo comento a una empleada y me pone mala cara , se los llevan a echarle a azúcar y nos lo vuelven a traer igual como si no nos hubiesemos dado cuenta que no hicieron nada , se lo vuelvo a comentar a otro chico ya que la chica puso mala cara y me dice que perfecto que se lo lleva , yo solo pedí azúcar y me encuentro con que hicieron otro , estupendo mejor , vuelven a traerlos y los dos mojitos normales tenían azúcar pero al mío ni lo habían hecho de nuevo ni le habían echado azúcar , ya molesta me levanto a comentarlo y un empleado me habla mal y me dice que él hizo el mojito y que estaba bueno (procede a probar mi mojito) cosa que me quedé flipando , como un empleado hace eso , me dicen que me echan azúcar o que me echan sirope para que me sepa dulce , ya enfadada le digo que echen azúcar y cambien mis pajitas y ya , a todo esto me voy a mi mesa y me lo tomo , porfin estaba bueno , llega la hora de pagar , la hora del horror , llego y digo que quiero pagar por separado ( como siempre hago ), hay un empleado ahí cobrando que es el que me ha tratado mal todo el rato , y me dijo q no que por separado no podía pagar y procedió a hablarme mal , a otra persona también le había tratado mal y se puso a pelear con el cliente , ya molesta dije que esas no eran las formas de hablar y saltaron varias personas que esas no eran las formas de hablar tampoco , que así no se trabaja cara al público , me enfado por qué sigue hablando peor y le pido una hoja de reclamaciones , se comienza a reír y me tira la tapa de un cubo de basura y me dice ahí tienes la hoja de reclamaciones , cayéndome la tapa del cubo de basura en los pies , mi pareja ya molesta quiere intervenir y le grita , a todo esto que el empleado le dice (te vas a poner tonto?) , ya flipando con este tema y mi pareja con muchos humos , enfadado , salimos para afuera y llamo a la policía local , la cual vino para que me dieran la hoja de reclamaciones , un mal trato y qué pena que hayan empleados así , espero que mi hoja de reclamaciones llegue lejos y ese empleado se tome sus...

My visit to the Manhattan Cocktail Bar has been a Great experience, I've had the most fantastic service from, Sebastian, Adriana, Elizabeth and Valeria, now I'm sure tourist's find places they enjoy and I found this, its located opposite The Grand Hotel, the staff are very accommodating and always service with a smile, the food is very tasty but explain exactly what you want, with every drink you get a bowl of crisps which is a nice touch, all in all I'm a single man who has travelled and if I don't like something I don't return but this place has everything for me, service with a smile, professional staff, different sports on 6+ different screens, a lovely pint of lager and the food has a great variety, thank you for your service, Feliz Navinad, best...
