La Paciència — Restaurant in Barcelona

Can’t say about the drinks or the bar but definitely can say about the rude barman. In a very cold January day we sat just for few minutes on his empty tables outside while he came to kick us away. When we explain him that we made a mistake as wanted to order food from the shop next door - instead of showing companion since the place was absolutely empty - he took a negative and rude expression.

It’s impossible not to like this place. Simple food, simple people and simple place but with all the secret ingredients that will make you come back. The food was delicious! The staff was nice and honest - they warn us that maybe we’re ordering too much food and gave us some help on that. The prices are cheap having in consideration the quality. Fast service. One of our best meals...

wir waren eine woche in barcelona auf urlaub und meiden generell im urlaub kulinarisch gesehen orte, an denen viele touristen verkehren. für uns ist immer das beste zeichen, wenn viele einheimische in einem lokal einkehren. bei diesem war genau das der fall. es fühlte sich an wie ein stammlokal der umgebenden einwohnerschaft. als wir essen waren, war es noch etwas zu früh für locals, in barcelona beginnt man erst ab frühestens 19/20 mit dem abendessen. das hat uns nicht daran gehhindert, pro person je vier tapas zu bestellen - ganz im gegenteil waren wir sehr froh dort schon etwas zu essen zu bekommen, ist eine seltenheit in der stadt. alle anderen lokale waren um diese uhrzeit gähnend leer, dieses lokal bis auf einen einzigen tisch (den wir bekommen haben) komplett voll, ebenso wie die terasse.

die tapas waren in der portionsgröße sehr großzügig (2-3 tapas pro person wären auch komplett ausreichend gewesen) und geschmacklich sehr gut. wir waren am tag zuvor in einer eher höher preislichen tapas bar und es war kein unterschied festzustellen (außer dem preis). wir haben zu zweit inkl. getränke 33€ bezahlt.
