Paella + 1 mussle - 1 Euro = Paella + 1 steak + dessert ????
Today me and my wife visited this reataurent and and I experienced WORST service among all the services of 2 weeks in spain!!
We wanted to order paella and in the menu it says we need to order for at least 2 person. and it was 12 Euro for each person. So I asked waiter if it's really not possible to order just one paella. and kindly he answered it's possible. So we ordered one paellea with couple of more tapas.
But later I found in the menu del dia(which wasn't given to me and nevere been explained by waiter) and menu had exactly same paella as I ordered plus steak and dessert with only 11 Euro!!
So I complained my waiter and he said our 12 Euro paella has same size but more seafoods. But when i saw others paella in menu del dia menu, I could not find the difference, maybe one more mussle
So my calculation based on my waiter's logic is...
** Paella + 1 mussle - 1 Euro = Paella + 1 steak + dessert = 11 Euro
I totally don't understand why our waiter didn't mention about menu del dia paella at first time, and keep on defencing himself and saying our paella has more seafood eventhough I can see other menu del dia paella at the next table which...
Read moreThe location is more than good: near Sagrada - around 4 minutes away so if you are hungry after spending 1.5 - 2 hours visiting Sagrada you can find a nice place to eat.
I've tried the paella (!!!attention - prices are for a single person and you need at least 2 person in order to be able to order paella!!!) and it was decent, not the best I've ever had, not the worst. It was freshly cooked as we needed to wait around 20 minutes to be ready, but that's a good thing as we had to time to enjoy some sangria.
Prices: ~30 - 35EUR for a 2person 🥘 (paella) so I will say average prices. And 10 eur/0.5l of Sangria - that was a bit high compared with other places) - I also post the recipe
Stuff: friendly
Also we catch a show from some guys who performed some kind...
Read moreWe wanted to find a place that served authentic paella after a day of wandering the city. We stumbled upon this place and wow, we are very pleased to have discovered it. Now the food was amazing, but it was 2nd to the service. We had Sunny as a server and he was fantastic and made the whole meal amazing. The tapas and meal was perfect. We had a group of 8 and ordered the meat, seafood and mixed paella. Everything was made like a home cooked meal. Tasted excellent. Sea food was extremely fresh, cooked perfect and very soft. Not a single tough muscle, clam or squid. All of the tapas are above the rest and made a perfect start to the meal. We loved this place and when we find ourselves back in Barcelona we will make it a point to stop by...
