Restaurant la Llesca — Restaurant in Barcelona

During my short 4-day trip to Barcelona, I dined at this restaurant three times, and I must say, I fell in love with it after the first try. The grilled lamb chops are exceptionally delicious! I highly recommend them. All the other dishes were also delightful.

I particularly enjoyed the excellent service provided by the staff. Despite the slow pace of browsing the menu for foreign customers, the servers give you plenty of space and time without rushing you. This made me feel very comfortable, and they were always attentive to my needs. The quality of service and comfort surpassed any experience I've had during my travels in Europe!

On one occasion, we ordered a variety of tapas and a medium-rare steak. Since our table was filled with tapas, there was no space for the steak when it arrived. The server proactively suggested that we continue enjoying the tapas while they prepared a fresh steak for us. This demonstrated the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence, earning my deep admiration.

In summary, I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant near the Sagrada Familia. The service is excellent, the food is incredibly delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely come back the next time I visit Barcelona, and I will highly recommend this fantastic restaurant to...

We went twice the same day because it was AWESOME!!, the food is traditional Barcelona cuisine and every plate was delicious and had a great presentation, the staff service was warm and welcoming, we didn't have prior reservation but arrived as soon as the restaurant opened around 1 pm, my husband and I ordered Entrecot and sangria and we were blown away because everything was so flavorful, we did not have time for dessert at the time because we had a tour already programmed to visit the Sagrada familia, once our 3 hour tour finished we decided to go back to La Llesca to eat dinner and we nailed it again with a plate of gambas a la parrilla, pollo al cava and apple pie as dessert, we were gifted 2 licor de arroz shots at the end : ) for visiting a second time the same day. Ate in this place with beautiful views, was a little disappointed. Initially staff were nice, but the members of staff kept changing, the guy bringing the food went to different tables with our food before bringing food to our table. Got our food quite rapidly, but it was not good. Entrecôte was cooked okay, but it was not tasty. A lot of fat and sinew, seemed like meat from an old animal. Iberian pork pretended to be Iberian pork, it was not. 0 taste, seemed like boiled for a bit, finished for a grill, nothing to do with Iberian pork. Grilled vegetables were brought 5 minutes after the mains were finished and were upsetting. Also, chef does not know what black pepper is or they ran out as there was none on any of the foods.
