ASTRO Smash Burger — Restaurant in Barcelona

Food: some of the best smash burgers that I’ve had outside the US. Great combinations on the menu that all seem to hit the sweet spot of being pleasantly original without feeling like too much for a single burger

Service: the Argentinian frontman speaks perfect English, so you can go here without speaking a single word of Catalan or Spanish. The staff is extremely welcoming and (most importantly) very enthusiastic about the food they serve. Note: it’s half self service. You get a buzzer that alerts you to your food being ready, but our drinks were brought to our table.

Que decir… tenía todas las expectativas con este lugar, por el gran marketing que tiene pero me súper decepcionó. Pedí la Mortal Kombat que trae ketchup (demasiado poco, ni siquiera le sentí el sabor), stacker sauce (ni siquiera vino esa salsa y no pedí que la saquen), cebolla morada (la cual estaba cortada demasiado grande y cuando la mordías te ardían los ojos), cebolla crispy (todavía la estoy esperando), bacon (crudo es poco), pepinillos (en exceso, lo que inunda el sabor de la hamburguesa) y por último, lo más importante para tener un producto de calidad: la carne. La hamburguesa estaba mal smasheada, por lo tanto no solo que no estaba “fina” si no que tampoco “crujiente”, no tenía sabor a nada y estaba pasada de su punto y demasiado seca (no se si porque le faltaba %graso o porque se les olvidó en la plancha). Lo único “rico” el pan, que también estaba inundado en manteca. Las papas fritas me vinieron 10 (contadas), y congeladas, claro. En fin, pague 16€ por una hamburguesa que sólo sentí el sabor a los pepinillos, unas papas demasiado escasas y congeladas, que por el precio que cobran, podrían poner más cantidad al menos, y una bebida. No estoy segura si volveré pero si estoy segura en que no lo voy a recomendar. En Barcelona hay muchas hamburgueserías muy buenas y mucho más baratas que esto. De haber sabido, cenaba en mc donalds, que no le encuentro mucha diferencia pero gastaba menos dinero. Frisch, stilvoll präsentiert und geschmacklich ein Highlight. • Einladende Atmosphäre: Ideal zum Verweilen – ob fürs Arbeiten, Treffen mit Freunden oder einen entspannten Café-Besuch. Es war angenehm ruhig, sogar während meiner Pause, und gleichzeitig voller Leben. • Hygiene & Sorgfalt: Alles war makellos sauber – Tische, Buffet, Einrichtung – man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. • Kreative Extras: Kleine Besonderheiten wie saisonale Specials und liebevoll dekorierte Ecken schaffen eine individuelle Note und verleihen dem Laden Charme und Wiedererkennungswert.
