Timesburg Poblenou — Restaurant in Barcelona

Very good burgers. Tastefull and pretty creative recipes along with the traditional cheesburger. Good quality meat, and you can go organic and "eco" in most ingredients, if that is your thing. They have different choices of bread too. House-made ketchup, mayo, and mustard to accompany their fries (real fries) of which you can order an entire kilo. Prices are not cheap, neither they are expensive imo, but a good compromise and undoubtly worthy having in mind the high-quality food you get. The place is nice, you can sit outside. You enter, go to the line, choose your burguer, order and pay and you sit. Food is served at your table. A model where you order like in a fastfood but it is NOTHING like a fastfood for the rest of the experience. But it is smart, because you can eat relatively quick, for example if you are in a 45-minute lunch break from work. So they can capitalize on that clientele too. A new favorite for me. Great burgers, nice staff.

I usually get the Paris95 cause its a simple tasty burger. The meat is well cooked with a slight soy sauce tinge that I think makes it super nice. The fries are thin and fried in olive oil so they can be a bit fatty but who doesn't like some fatty fries. Their chili sauce is amazing! Def recommend it on the burger or with some fries.

Really deserves a 5/5. BUT, there is a major catch.

I assume the staff has been told to try to sell "upgrades/extras" and holy crap it's annoying. Ordering is a pain, uncomfortable, and emotionally tiring. Our meal afterwards consists in talking about how much they've tried to force some "eco" meat or unnecessarily over priced bread.

Hello dear Timesburg branch in Poblenou. For more than 5 years, I have been coming to them several times a year for a delicious burger.

Unfortunately, my experience on 08.10.2023 at about 20:15 was very bad. And I mean the service. When ordering at the counter, my friend and I ordered the food in English. The lady (blonde hair) answered us only in Spanish. Then one of the staff told her to speak English because we didn't understand Spanish. She then replied to the colleague in Spanish that she was specifically not speaking English with us. Just stupid, young lady...my friend understood you because he speaks Italian and it sounds similar.

Just to say it again, it was a blonde lady.

This woman who took the order and didn't speak English to us made it so that I wouldn't come back.
