PLEASE DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT

This was genuinely one of the most depressing meals that I have ever eaten. I've never left a review on Google of any place I've been to but the food here was so poor that it caused offense.

I'll get this out of the way first as it isn't to do with the food but it's important to mention that the pricing is misleading when it's mentioned as for two people. Don't allow yourself to get scammed by this.

Secondly the food. The waiter recommended we had some grilled octopus for the table. This was a monstrosity. I had one bite in which I spent five minutes attempting to make my way through the toughness and which if I hadn't been sat with friends would have spat out in a napkin and tossed in the bin. It was so oily that the oil from the octopus ran off the plate and on to the table in which I had to wipe it up with a napkin to stop it spilling off onto my trousers.

For my main I had the monkfish stew which was the most appalling over cooked piece of seafood I have ever eaten. Worst of all it didn't taste of anything surrounded in what I can only describe as some hot water with a hint of tomato flavouring. You'll get more flavour in pot noodle for €1 than this disgrace costing nearly €17. It's Barcelona, a city by the sea, its beyond compression that there could be a place in the city serving seafood this bad. For the rest of stew there was a couple of sad chunks of potato, clams and a prawn which I didn't touch based off the experience with the monkfish. Only a fool would go any further after eating anything this bad.

If you decide to eat here after reading this then you only have yourself to blame....

Avoid! We had a few tapas here and a glass of wine and a beer, and while some of the food was good but VERY overpriced, my little girl’s chicken breast meal was a small piece of meat and TWELVE fries, at almost €16 that is completely scandalous (well that was the price on the menu, but it ended up costing more when we got the bill, more explanation on that in a moment!) Halfway through our meal a woman with her bare bottom out walked over shouting at us and tried snatching food off my 2 year old daughter’s plate, then proceeded to cough and spit on us when we tried asking her to leave, all the time the male staff member stood there watching us get harassed, disgusting to see such little regard of customers especially ones with little children. We asked for the bill and had to wait a long time, even though we’d made it very clear we were anxious to leave, 2 men had started a screaming match right next to our table in the street and our children were scared, especially after the ordeal with the crazy woman. When the bill finally arrived everything was more expensive than on the menu, so I asked for a menu to compare. When I questioned this, we were pointed to the tiny writing that states there’s a charge for sitting outside, this isn't explained when you sit down and it’s not clear on the bill either, there’s no additional charge added on, they just charge you a lot more for each item! We ended up paying almost €15 euros more to be able to sit outside and get harassed 😑 Don’t go here, it’s expensive and your safety is not important to them,...

Im not sure if they offer better service to customers that come for a la cart menu or not. But we (5people) came for a 'menu del dia' at lunch time (not even lunch time yet actually since in Spain their lunch is quite late we were there like at 12.30). I have to say that the service is WAY TO FAR from ok. We were standing in front of the restaurant checkinf the menu for a while. They saw us but nobody came out. Since we saw that it was not busy; there was just one table dining. So we started to sit down outside. We sticked two tables together as i said that we were five people. A waiter (a brazillian guy) came out with a la cart menu. We told him that we were here for 'menu del dia'. He said 'menu del dia' you must go inside only and put the table and chairs as how they were before and he just left us. Anyway, we did as told and went inside. He is a bad waiter as quality. He does not know the menu that the restaurant is offering, non-professional, plus, his attitude is horrible. A drink that includes in the menu was tiny like outrages.
