Enjoyed our lunch over at Bar Cugat. We were in the area and just stumbled across this spot craving a nice beverage and some simple eats. It served that purpose perfectly.

The atmosphere is nice and homey with great lighting. Feels like a local spot and overall very welcoming which I enjoyed.

We wound up sitting outside and had solid service throughout a busy lunch. Ordered tapas all of which were tasty. I appreciated how they had a few different options than the typical spot like the mini burger and boa as well as the Russian tuna potato salad. Recently moved to the area and during the move i spend a lot of time popping in and out of here. Food: Torreznos: mind-blowing crunch and flavor; simple yet unforgettable. Breakfast/lunch staples: unassuming, solid fare that hits the mark without fuss. Service/Ambience: Very welcoming, efficient staff; cool, old-school bar atmosphere that’s both nostalgic and comfy. A great tapas bar not too far from the busy shopping street Passeig de Gracia. Both locals and expats come here a lot so it is better to reserve if you come in group (4-8 people). Highly recommend the patatas bravas, tortilla, artichoke with ham and ox tail croquettes (if you don’t mind the heavy taste of meat).
