Bar Mariatchi — Restaurant in Barcelona

My husband read up about this bar. He was determined to find it and was pleased when we discovered that it was around the corner from the cafe where we had lunch. Didn't try the food they say they serve - no evidence when we came in - just a few people passing the time with a cool refreshing beer. Great Spanish Ska music was playing and the charismatic barman grooved while he served. They sell homemade honey mead and honey vermouth but as we were traveling with hand luggage we couldn't buy any this time but after a taste of the mead we'll bring hold luggage next trip. One of the best bars I've ever been. I'm writing this in English because I highly recommend this place for tourists. Usually in Barcelona they low the quality and rise the prices, because tourists still think it's cheap and good, but in this bar, apart from being pretty, it's really good for night time, drink your beers or other drinks with your friends, also if you like reggae this place is very cool. I highly recommend the Mojito, it's really strong and very good pricing, also drink responsibly! The staff is friendly, active and fast. We stopped into Bar Mariachi because it looked interesting and wow what a great little place. The bartender was so warm and kind and he mixed a mean Mezcalita! There was live music, almost like an open mic night. So many musicians sitting in. We had the best time meeting locals and tourists. Everyone was so great. I hope this place never looses their vibe.
