TLDR: whole meal tasted like it’s straight from Carrefour then microwaved
Cod croquettes: middle was basically mush and didn’t taste like anything, fish finger would have tasted better
Potato tortillas: tasted exactly like the ones from supermarket then microwaved, there’s no way a freshly made food can taste this way and have this texture. Tomato bread was low key soaked but seasoning was fine.
3.shrimp scampi: garlic was burnt, shrimp was mushy so probably frozen/ not fresh seafood and doesn’t taste much, also no olive oil in the plate when served but I thought the shrimps are meant to be cooked in oil
The cheese and ham platter: honestly not much can go wrong here but the cheese tasted like rubber and not much flavour and the bread was not hot or crunchy and just hard and dry, the rest taste like normal supermarket produce
Sangria: when I thought sangria should be the one safe thing for this meal and tried to eat a slice of apple from the drink, it was mushy :(
To conclude, the service was okay but food is no different from buying from supermarket and reheating it. Also, they gave us free limoncello at the end of the meal which was nice of them but they really need to up their game...
Read moreIt was a Saturday night when we got into this restaurant. This place is not as popular as it shows on the Internet and we are the only customers there.
We ordered two dishes, a bottle of water and a sangria ,68.5 in total.
The first one is salpicon de mariscos mixtos (Mixed fish). It is an appetizer of an octopus and some little fish with a refreshing sauce. The sauce tastes exactly the same with Tom Yum Goong. We were pretty full when we entered the restaurant and this appetizer did a great job.
The second one should be bacalao con compota de tomatoes (not sure) . It is grilled fish with cheese, tomato sauce and chopped scallion. The cheese on top of the fish fillet is too salty. Overall it tastes like steamed fish soy sauce.
I didn’t take any photos of sangria. It is for two. Each person can drink one and a half cups of it and it costs 20. The Alcohol by volume should be pretty high though.
I appreciate the food, but I still think they are overpriced. It is a place that you don't want to walk in when you are starving, in which you will only get some foods that are just enough for you not feeling hungry. If you REALLY wanna try, maybe better having some croissants...
