Please read the reviews and observe the odd behavior of the owner, who insults and name-calls every visitor who doesn't rate the restaurant highly.

Very bad experience--I've never experienced meaner staff at any restaurant in my life. There was a guy with a tattoo on his arm who was very nice, but the other staff were very rude, especially the bald one. First, we ordered our drinks (we were inside where it was extremely hot), and the staff proceeded to forget about us, until about 15 minutes later when they noticed us looking at them and they started preparing them. Then, the bald guy told us to stop bringing him new paper order sheets, despite the fact that we were only doing this because his coworker kept bringing us new sheets to fill out. Next, the bald guy brought us two drinks that looked the same and didn't tell us which was which, so we had to take them back and ask.

However, worst of all we were partway into a round of drinks and still eating our food (we were eating and drinking fairly quickly) when one of the staff came up and told us they had another group of people to seat so he was asking us to hurry up and leave. I was pretty surprised by that since we had just recently ordered our second round of drinks.

Mexican food is hard to come by in Barcelona but best to go elsewhere, it'll be worth it!

EDIT: The owner replied to my review, calling me a male Karen, invasive species, pest, offended snowflake. They also said I must not hear well because I was "unable to remember basic commands" regarding not bringing multiple order sheets to them (reminder: we were doing this only because the staff kept bringing us new sheets to fill out, until we were reprimanded). It seems odd and unprofessional to me that the owner insults every customer who had a bad experience here. I think it illustrates the kind of treatment visitors can...

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO EAT IN BARCELONA

As we arrived the waitress kindly said we have an hour wait time and its cash only, we already knew it was cash only and we took out cash from the ATM with a 6% CHARGE and we knew this was worth it after reading reviews!

we went for drinks at the local bar and came back, they welcomed us with complimentary tequila shots as we were ordering.

We got the Nachos which were incredible, crispy and freshly fried with guacamole and fresh tomato salsa, you can taste the high quality ingredients used here.

we also got the enchiladas and fried chicken tacos, all freshly made tacos with incredible ingredients.

all the food MELTED in our mouths.

out of all the restaurants we went to this was the best food for the best price, we were surprised when the bill had arrived, it was 20 euro per person with thee food value of 50 euros per person which we would have happily paid for!

what topped it off was we wanted something sweet and told the waiter, he said do not worry i got you! he came back with the best thing we could have asked form a nut based marzipan sweet biscuit. incredible.

THE HOT SAUCE wow.

cant wait to come back to Barcelona and eat here again.

Atmosphere and vibes were incredible here, highly recommend, the nicest staff we have ever experienced,...

I belong to a Mexican Meetup group on Facebook with some fellow expats who crave Mexican food. We meet once a month and we visit a new place every month and we've been doing this since August of 2018. I'm from southern California so I definitely know my Mexican food as well as my friends.

well I have to say the search is over for the best all-around Mexican food joint we've sampled so far.

The nachos were amazing stuffed with wonderful amazing goodness tons of 🥑avocado 🐔 chicken beans 🧀 cheese everywhere.

Then we shared an amazing green chile enchiladas so tasty great flavor from the sauce.

And finally we tried the chicken mole tacos oh my God they were delicious we love them so much we ordered a second round.

Our group has been to many Mexican restaurants here in the city of Barcelona the past year-and-a-half and for me and everyone else in the group we have to say this so far is the best restaurant in the city. as a matter of fact we liked it so much we are going back next month for those who weren't able to make it this month that's how good it was.

Would you like to know the name? La Pachuca it opened in July from what I understand.

Sorry I forgot to take the picture of the mole tacos I was in Mexican...

After our flight to Barcelona, I was really craving a taco. After searching for places near where we were staying, I found La Pachuca. As soon as we walked in, I heard alternative/indie music playing — a genre I actually listen to — and it instantly felt like home. A few moments after checking out the menu, I decided on the carnitas tacos, and she went with the quesadilla. The tacos were packed with flavor, and the pork rind added that satisfying crunch you’d expect from a hard shell, even though it was a soft shell. The squeeze of lime made the flavor pop even more. The mango margarita was also a great touch to round out the meal. And the artwork throughout the place gave off the cozy, creative vibe of a friend’s house — the kind of spot where every wall has a story, every frame has a personality. If you’re nearby, don’t miss out on this place!
