We went there because we like the sitting outside but that was a huge mistake. The menu list was sticky and it stinked. However we were hangry so we decided order palea with sea food and next one with chicken meat. The pictures in menu looked good but the reality was different. My chicken meat wasn’t chicken meat but some sousage and another terrible meat. The meal has no taste and the meat was cheap and not good at all. Also they don’t have bathrooms. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! This was the only bad food experience we had after travelling 2 weeks in Spain! We sat down because it looked busy and the prices were reasonable. The paella was DISGUSTING!!! The rice was not cooked at all, still crunchy in my mouth, and tasted nothing enjoyable so I could not eat any of the rice. There was literally two rings of calamari, 2 mussels and 2 shrimps in the paella. My boyfriend had a menu: soup, some meat dish and dessert. Nothing tasted better than mine. Dopo una settimana in giro, tra Madrid e Valencia, e dopo due giorni di cibo approssimativo a prezzi esorbitanti nella stessa Barcellona. Decidiamo di non dare retta alle recensioni web, e di fidarci dell'istinto.

Il locale sembra essere fuori dal tempo, non è alla moda, ma nemmeno retrò. I camerieri sembrano usciti da un romanzo di Manuel Vazquez Montalban, persone che non hanno pretese da imbonitori.

Vicino a noi, una stupenda donna anziana, amante dei gatti e della birra, si siede, accende una sigaretta e si mette a giocare con il suo gatto.

Questo ambiente ti fa dimenticare del cibo.

Però alla fine siamo venuti per mangiare.

Allora prendiamo tre menù della casa, dopo varie batoste e prese in giro, su presunte ricette gourmet, non abbiamo più voglia di rischiare.

Oramia rassegnati ad accettare qualsiasi cosa possa arrivare, attendiamo quella che pensiamo possa essere l'ennesima delusione.

Invece veniamo subito sconfessati, il cibo non è gourmet, ma la loro paella inclusa nel menù di 13 euro a persona, e superiore a quelle pagate anche 18 euro al piatto.

Prendiamo una zuppa di fave, che mi fa ritornare bambino, come quella della nonna, carne di maiale in umido, e altri piatti, vicino sono arrivate altre portate, tutte cucinate ottimamente.

L'unico appunto per i tortelli alla napoletana. Essendo io Napoletano, non sapevo che esistesse una ricetta simile. Ma questo vale lo stesso per un catalano che mangia cucina propria a Napoli.
