A Carnivore's Delight at Tosha del Carne, Barcelona
From the moment I stepped into Tosha del Carne, it was clear that this Barcelona gem was going to deliver a dining experience to remember. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, setting the stage for a meal that’s both delightful and relaxing.
Our culinary journey began with the mix platter of meat and cheese, a tapestry of flavors that showcased the best of regional produce. Each cheese was a creamy, decadent delight, and the meats were cured to perfection, providing a smoky and savory prelude to the main courses.
The steak, ordered medium-rare, was a testament to the chef’s prowess. It arrived sizzling, with a seared crust giving way to a tender, juicy interior. Every bite was a masterclass in texture and seasoning, proving that Tosha del Carne knows their way around a grill.
The stew with beans was comfort food at its finest. The beans were tender, stewed to perfection, and each spoonful was a hearty embrace, enriched with layers of flavor from the slow-cooked, succulent meat.
The seafood, a nod to Barcelona’s coastal roots, was a symphony of the sea. Each morsel was cooked to tender perfection, from the delicate shrimp to the sumptuous mussels, all infused with the essence of the ocean.
In every dish, the freshness of the ingredients shone through, a clear indication of the care Tosha del Carne takes in sourcing their fare. Attentive and friendly service only enhanced the experience, with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience.
Tosha del Carne is a must-visit for anyone in Barcelona with a love for expertly prepared meats and high-quality, comforting dishes. A feast for the senses, it’s a place I’m already longing...
Read moreI came back there a few times just because they have a good apple pie. But the service always was just horrible, nobody deserve to be treated without respect, but this place is hiring people based on how ignorante they are. Happen a lot of times that they don't even say hello, the waiter once grab my menu in the middle of my order and went, so I didn't order all the things I wanted. They have in the menu Chai latte but Noone knows how to prepare it, so please if someone read this, teach the workers making things from the menu! Once very rude girl just bring me the milk and under was the dust from Chai late and she didn't even let me know about that. When I told about it to other waiter he just laughed... Today I ordered apple pie to take away and I was waiting 20 minutes so I kindly asked the girl if she can check about it and with angry face went saying nothing, came back and put the bag on the table not saying anything! The cake was completely melted because of the ice cream that probably should have been gave to me 15 minutes before! Please do something with the people working there, I was coming back only for the apple pie, but now even taking away i have to deal with super bad unrespectful...
Read morejust moved to El Raval and was casually looking for a good tapas place to take my mom and I saw this place I went in it over exceeded my expectations. It was so delicious. We tried the Seabass, which melted in your mouth. The salmon was cooked perfectly. But our ultimate favor is the Moroccan chicken. Wow. Also the bartenders on the servers are incredible. It’s probably one of the best service I’ve had here in Barcelona. I’ve been back twice already. I plan to go there very often I’ve taken my friends. The drinks are very crafted in detail for example. If you order the passionfruit with coconut margarita, there’s like actual trunks of coconut and you can taste the real fruit, but it’s not too sweet. Literally both the food and the drinks are what makes me crave to go back, but the atmosphere of the service is the cherry on top. i have to say this is my favorite tapas place now :) they also have brunch all day and a really long happy hour
Sometimes they get busy, but it’s always worth the wait ...
