Biocenter — Restaurant in Barcelona

This place was wonderful! I was able to get in without a reservation on a Monday night. I ordered the Nachotes and a Happy Burger, and chose a biocenter Juice to wash it all down with.

The nachos were surprisingly delicious. I was expecting something simple with just chips, cheese and pico de gallo sprinkled on top. To my surprise they actually finished them off and the oven to get the chips perfectly toasted and the cheese melted. That time in the oven took these nachos to another level. Additionally, they use the perfect chips that stayed crispy from the first bite to the last. The guacamole you can tell was handmade and complemented everything well. I just wish there were more 🙂.

The happy burger came with fries. The sauce on the happy burger was excellent. It wasn't too runny and allowed me to easily handle the burger. You could taste all the different flavors working together to make a delicious sandwich.

Lastly, the bio center juice was wonderful. It wasn't too sweet, it wasn't too sour... It was the perfect mix overall.

Would have given it a 5 star if it was based on our first lunch there. Delicious, well priced, good service. We ordered the lunch special (one salad/soup + one of the three entrees + dessert for 10€. We loved everything (including the self serve and fast service there). We had a vegan lasagna, the crispy seitan, chocolate almond cake and coconut and lemon (cheesecake).

Biocentre juice - WAS AMAZING

Vegan lasagna - it was texturally satisfying and it tasted good.

crispy seitan - with baked potatoes (with a sweet tomato sauce) was AMAZING.

Chocolate almond cake - the cake was spongey and well balanced with the chocolate icing (which was dark and rich alone)

Coconut lemon cake - the texture was so creamy and tasted great. It might not be for everyone, but we enjoyed it. That lunch experience is a 5 star!

Dinner was the complete opposite. Overpriced, awful service and subpar food. Waitress was a tad rude and didn't really pay attention to us. Maybe our expectations were too high from lunch that we expected the same from dinner? But it was enough that we would never go there for dinner...

The food is amazing! We order a magic burger and the set dinner which comes with a deliciously creamy vegetable cream soup, mushroom risotto and a homemade cake.

The magic burger comes with nicely fried potato chips which goes well with the mayonnaises sauce. The burger patty is surprisingly tasty, together with the mushroom and cheese, it's a perfect burger! Personally, I added some mayonnaises to add even more favour to it.

Ordering the set meal is pretty worth it as it comes with a starter, main and dessert. The vegetable cream soup is well balanced. Most vegetable cream soup is either too creamy or the vegetable taste overwhelmed the soup. Biocenter has it right! The mushroom risotto is fantastic. The cream is light and makes u craves for more. Only thing I would pick on is.. please add more mushroom!
