⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding – A Must-Return Experience
From the moment we stepped into Bocca di Bonifacio (Ausiàs Marc), we felt not just welcomed—but genuinely looked after. The ambiance is warm, stylish, and refined, but what truly elevates the experience is the exceptional service.
The waiters were simply outstanding—attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely accommodating. They catered to our every need with grace and efficiency, adjusting dishes without hesitation and ensuring everything flowed effortlessly. Their kindness and care, especially with our daughter, made a lasting impression.
Our daughter had the Paccheri, served simply with butter as requested, and it was flawless—high-quality pasta cooked to perfection. We ordered the Tagliatelle alla Carbonara, prepared tableside, and it was a beautiful performance and a delicious standout: silky, rich, and perfectly balanced.
As our second course, we shared the Tagliata Angus—tender, flavorful, and elegantly presented with seasonal mushrooms and truffled mashed potatoes.
To accompany the meal, we selected the Amarone – Campagnola (Veneto), which was served with expert care. It was bold, smooth, and incredibly well-suited to the food.
Even the bartender stood out—skilled, charismatic, and welcoming. There was a clear sense of pride in every member of the team, and it showed in every detail.
10/10 – exquisite cuisine, impeccable service, and a place we’re already looking forward to returning to. Often. A truly memorable...
Read moreUpdate March 2024 - we were surprised by the new menu that included pizza. So we decided to try two types and a burger, as their other restaurant specializes in burger. 1) when the burger arrived it was over cooked, not to the point it was requested. The final result was not at all to the level of the burgers they are used to; 2) only one pizza arrived, as they forgot the other. It was worse then a commercial level pizza. Tasteless and thick chewy crust. The cheese was hard and plastic. No sign of the taleggio or pistachios which were part of the recipe. We requested a tiramisu and it took well over 10 minutes to arrive. It's unfortunate as I have always considered this restaurant as good quality.
April 2023 - I used to go to the original which is more craft beer and hamburger based. However this Bocca di Bonifacio is a different style. Wine and dine! Love the risotto and recommend a bottle of Nero d'avola to accompany. Excellent service, attentive, agile and detail orientated. Atmosphere is good at any time of day and certain dates they have quality...
Read moreArrived at this lovely venue by hotel recommendation. I expected a cocktail bar with a row of seats at the bar, but was pointed the last table available as all were reserved already. I asked the charming receptioniste from my hotel whether she could advise me some nice and genuine cocktail bars, so as I indulged in the atmosphere of Bocca di Bonifacio I felt immediately at ease, relaxed with a gentle tune of the present vocal artist/guitarist and female staff which were always present. As it was dinner time I chose the Argentinian tenderloin which honestly was the best I've tasted in a while.. Unbelievably tender and well flavored, relatively small dish, but wth, finished with a nice chocolate cake and a second cocktail on demand, the woman bartender, Julia confirmed her talent with a whisky sour with a twist. On the wall some artistic deco with an Audrey Hepburn improvisation, wine bottles contouring the dining room and a retro tennis racket, 3 items which accidentally define a part of my life.. Muchas gracias, picco bello y...
