TAKOPA! Izakaya & Bar — Restaurant in Barcelona

We entered the bar about 15 minutes before siesta. There were almost no people inside. My husband only got 4 takoyaki to go, and woman took the order. We sat by the counter for about 10 minutes, but in the end, we didn’t get our order (it was being prepared by a man). When we tried to tell the woman that we hadn’t received it, she didn’t listen to us at all and just kept repeating, “Break. Break.” As a result, I had to raise my voice and say that we had ALREADY PAID. After that, she mumbled “Sorry” and went to sit at a table to chat with her friends (??). Sadly the takoyaki I ordered arrived very late 15-20 minutes. It was not the girl problem, the problem is to keep a place e like this with one person doing both camerero and cocinero. Really bad texture and consistence, the quality of the takoyaki was low and not typical at all. Tiny piece of octopus, salty and I don't know, soggy. I repeat, I don't blame the worker , this is just a show off on how bad is managed, it looks like it's abandoned inside. I remember it used to be very different years ago . Service was great, and the food was pretty good too! It's very hard to come across well made takoyaki (they cook it right there in front of you) and okonomiyaki. The okonomiyaki was quite good but for some reason very chewy (I suspect there was something wrong with the cabbage). However, the biggest reason why I'm rating it three stars only is the portion size. The okonomiyaki was way smaller than it should be, same with the takoyaki balls. Delicious food, but too...
