Bonavida — Restaurant in Barcelona

Not to be recommended. The prices are high compared to the quantity with huge ice blocks in the glasses. From 6pm they raised prices without advertising. We checked the bill and noticed that we had different prices for the same orders and especially for particular persons. When we asked the waiter it seemed he made up excuses which was unbelievable. Part of the multicultural group felt discriminated. Even though the place was pretty empty and five barkeeper were behind the bar the customers waited half an hour for their drinks while locals, also part of the team, got their drinks right away. Plus the waiter was smelling strongly sweaty. I was shocked and decided “it was the first and the last time I will have been a guest at this bar”.

What was positive - atmosphere, olives and humus were tasty.

No Go Unacceptable - feeling uncomfortable, discriminated, fooled, portion sizes, miserable...

Perfect Cocktail and Tapas place. Besides the location (easy to acces via metro at Catalunya or Urquinaona stations), the bar has a small terrace as well. The cocktails are delicious and Tapas are quite tasty too (patatas bravas have hot sauce!). The Wassaap cocktail comes in a funny giraffe glass and it has a helium bloom attached, that you can inhale for fun 😀 It is a bit bitter, but nonetheless delicious. Unbelievably amazing service. Had been contacting the establishment prior to going as I was planning a surprise for a friend’s 21st birthday. They had quick communication and were amazing with understanding what I was asking for and were incredibly accommodating. They decorated the table and provided a wonderful experience!
